Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Yes, I am lucky. We planted lettuce and broccoli today. The zucchini, snap peas, and cucumber seeds she planted have all sprouted. :) The tomato plants have teeny tomatoes too. :inlove: Now only if we could get some sun. She said the only sun she saw was the day we left and last night. Cloudy again today with rain on its way. :(

I know our weather has been very goofy but most of my plants are at least hanging on. One palm is goofy and some of my flowers are just hanging on.

I keep hoping that the Muppets fountain is a plumbing issue with the immediate construction in that area. A gal can hope right?

I think the Muppets are on the way out. The show needs a huge upgrade. I could be wrong because Disney just built the rat place. But your and mine generation knows the Muppets but the last half of my generation and the next - doesn't.

I don't know where the post is but speaking of duck.

No more duck on the Kona Cafe menu. Found out the day before from the Disney Food Blog that it wasn't on there. I was like what do I get? Turns out I got the burger with a poached egg on top. POACHED EGG = heaven.

Lady said I was the first one to finish it. :cautious: Not my fault I don't eat like a crazy person. Well, I do but not like some people at Disney.

Leaving for the airport to start my Alaskan Adventure in 25 minutes!!! :joyfull:

First flight should be no problem (just about 5 hours long, which is the longest flight for me in about a decade). Flight #2, however, is overbooked, so we'll see how that goes.

Not sure if there will be non snack food served,on the first flight (I know it depends on the length of the trip), so I'll need to find something at the airport to bring. As for entertainment, I have 2 books (A Man Called Ove and 1984), 2 coloring books (Harry Potter and Buffy), colored pencils, and a phone filled with music.

I'm so excited!

Safe travels and good luck. I hope you get a good seat on both flights.

@StarWarsGirl , that coworker sounds like a piece of work. First of all, a coworker that rats out a fellow coworker is a jerk. In the workplace, that will create a wall of enemies against the perpetrator. There are certain unwritten rules in an office, and she crossed the line. The only time I could justify her action would be if a coworker was engaging in illegal behavior such as stealing, or if the person was being obnoxious and unprofessional to customers, or colleagues.

You're smart to copy your own boss, on any communications you have with this coworker. I think it's great that the boss gave you a separate space away from her. My hunch is that this may not be the first time this coworker has had "issues" with others in the company.
