David Ross is surely the next one to go on Dancing With The Stars. I was surprised to see him last another week last week, and now he has made it to week 9. This is my first season watching this program, and I can easily see it's attraction/popularity. It definitely isn't an easy task, learning those dance routines. I'll definitely watch to the ending.

I don't think that is possible. We stayed at POR also when it was just 5 of us. It got cramped real quick once the youngest at the time started toddling. We then did 2bdrm villas for once a year trips. When we learned that we could go twice as much by downgrading, we decided to forgo the "luxury" and just do the Cabins or AoA.

I like AoA, it's fun. I love their food on sight.

There was frost on our grass this morning. I am hoping that our newly planted veggies survive and the teeny peaches. The only reason we planted the veggies 2 weeks ago is because we are supposed to be free from frost by now. Plus the dear old accuweather 2 month in advance forecast did not have any lows below 40 2 weeks ago. I should have known better. Pray for warmth.

Weather seems to be off this year. We haven't even thought of putting anything in the ground, yet.

I was surprised about some younger school groups going to see it because some of the language but it's nothing they haven't heard or said. It was hilarious though.

That's horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you're plants survive. Mine are in my nice warm heated house. Nothing tender goes in the ground until a week after mother's day up here and even then I check the weather for the rest of the month. BTW I'm always praying for warmth

I did enjoy the food court there but the hotel did seem a bit hectic to me.

Another round of storms and hail this evening. We are staying inside, and hoping for the best!

We think it was something with the radiator, looks like the deer that hit her had pushed the grill into the radiator, and it broke when the mechanics pulled the grill away. Probably was missed until it was driven for a while. She finally got a loaner car, most of the rental cars are damaged and not able to drive. Someone had to go to Colorado Springs to find another car.

Really loud and scary. This is not that uncommon in Colorado. We had major hail damage a couple years ago, and had to have our roof replaced. We had several branches taken down by the wind and hail. Not big hail, just a lot of it.

The oldest grandson does that too. When moving , he had to go to his dad's to use his computer while things we're being set up at home, and getting connected to WiFi. Silly, I guess we don't need, books, pencils and papers anymore.

My birds are acting more like their normal selves this morning. Spin always likes to pick on Marty, and he is back to some of his mischievous tricks. Although, he always gives Marty the sweet spot near the seed block. It's good to hear their normal chirping, and squawking this morning.

Have you ever done the tent thing at Fort Wilderness? Are tents provided or do you have to bring your own? I looked at that before I found the European deal last summer and the cabins were more expensive than the Values, so I didn't want to do that, but couldn't tell if the tent was provided for that area. It was certainly cheaper, but there was no way for us to pack a tent and sleeping bags and all that in the luggage.

No tent for us. Staying in a cabin with a modern kitchen and a functioning bathroom is the closest I will ever get to real camping.

^^^^^This!!!!!!!!! My dh is still trying to figure out when to take the boys for a few days this summer. While they're camping in a tent I'll be camping either at the pool or on my deck

It's sunny right now. I'm over yesterday's stuff. It's a new day, and a new start!

Average $240 a day.

According to David's, it costs 345 USD for a 1 bedroom suite in AKL.
405 for old key west (100 USD more for 2 rooms) for 2 days.. averaging then 172 and 203 USD a day.

So yeah, renting points is cheaper.

We did a lot of camping in our early years, we had little money, and a twenty dollar tent, with sleeping bags was fine in those days. Most of the motels weren't that much better, when we camped in the mountains. Some of them are really run down today, and moldy. Sleeping outdoors with a cot (we used that when we had more money to spend). Was really nice. We would leave the tent open at night, and it was fun hearing all the animals.
