I was little so I don't remember exactly how it was done. All I remember was a few bad words and get the duct tape.I have seen plenty over the years that were clear plastic framed and secured with duct tape, but, that was the first time I can ever remember seeing the whole thing being covered with duct tape. Ultimately, whatever it takes, right...?!

My oldest sister had a Mrs. Beasley and over time her face deteriated into something scary so she had to be "retired" to doll heaven. Thanks for this.
Oh my gosh! I still have my Mrs. Beasley! Sans glasses though.
Never heard of Cherikee Red. Maybe not an east coast thing? Never had a Grape Nehi, but I was always intrigued since Radar on MASH loved them.As a kid we had a lot of Cherikee Red but my favorite was (and still is) a Grape Nehi. In 6th grade I started "working" in our school cafeteria (putting milk on trays, wiping tables, selling ice cream, etc.) and our "pay" at the end of the week was a bottle of pop. The lunch ladies always had a Grape Nehi for me. I just liked I got out of class early and was the first one to eat.
I cry too much watching Toy Story 3. Too sad. It's official Toy Story 3 is the best of the TS movies Somehow I managed to listen to all 3 this week
Mine is still in decent shape. No idea why I loved it so much. The show Family Affair I think ended when I was a baby. No idea why it was bought for me, but she is one of the few things I saved from my childhood. My oldest sister had a Mrs. Beasley and over time her face deteriated into something scary so she had to be "retired" to doll heaven.
My daughter loves purple. She told me yesterday that one day she wants her own food truck and it will be purple.Very nice. those color's remind me of spring. I always dyed my eggs with pink and purple.
my butt says "nope nope" XD
Oh my, I never realized Big Red ever made it that far north...!
It's a Texas thing and we used to drink the heck out of it on our summer vacations back to Texas...!!!!!

I remember camping out for concert tickets and the only reason I was allowed to do so was because my parents knew one of the police officers assigned to security. Our rotary got switched out in our house when my line was put in because it was considered one house call. I even remember getting a doctor's house call. Chicken Pox was all over the place the year we got it so our doctor shut down his office for the better part of a few days and made house calls for it so his older patients wouldn't be exposed. We had a GP until he retired
First day of sun in a week. Almost didn't recognize that bright thing up in the sky.
