We saw an F-117A at the last air show they had here at Bergstrom AFB before it closed and became our airport, back in the mid-late 90's. It was pretty up close, but, not personal, as it was stanchioned and rope off in a square shape, with armed (M16s) guards on all 4 sides.
Back then they were still high tech, these days, not so much.

I actually prefer the T-38...

...to the T-34...! :)

I knew one of the pilots so I lucked out and got way closer than maybe I should have at an air show:oops: and let's just say the same thing for the T34:angelic::angelic::angelic:

We had bad thunderstorms and rain last night. My cat hid under our bed during the thunder, then she would come out when it quietened down, only to have to run and hide again when it boomed. She did that for about 5 different times. She was worn out!

Sympathy like for kitty. ;)

Our Belle (black lab/shepherd mix) gets real snuggly with us during t-storms, Ranger (black lab/who-knows-what mix - nobody can tell us ;)) is oblivious. :cyclops:
It shaping up to be a rough (ruff o_O :D ;)) day for poor Belle...

While some of you are waiting for the giraffe to pop a baby on camera, a giraffe in Denver did the same without the camera.
I'm pretty well convinced that the other giraffe isn't even pregnant, she's just been binging on beer and is bloated. I know if my wife had been this far overdue the surrounding air would have been blue with screaming obscenities.:jawdrop::mad:

That's the face I've been making since last night. Our power was off for about 20 hours or so:mad::mad::mad::mad: It just came back on, but the water pressure still isn't all the way up:mad::mad::mad::mad: I'm hoping it stays on but I'm not counting on it because the wind hasn't died down at all yet:mad::mad::mad::mad: BTW I don't think we broke freezing all day:mad::mad::mad::mad: Come here little groundhog:angelic::angelic::angelic:

Sympathy like.
Hope things are better by now...!

Didn't the pattern get old fast for you? aka too much effort?

Nope, it was always a cute, fun little ceremony!
Sometimes though, when we first started doing it, one of us had to do a bit of walking around to find a kiddo to help with the ceremony, on some random weekday morning.
Once word got out however, a lot of Guests would show up early with their kiddos to hopefully get to be the one chosen to "open" the Store.
It was a good example of the Magical Disney difference...! ;) :)
