Oh, probably. I need to eventually move south just for health reasons. It is mighty suspicoius that I've been in a lot of warm weather since December and have had colds and such while I was away with no asthma symptoms, and I get back and immediately start with asthma symptoms. I told my mom that when I move out, it will likely be moving south, not just moving out.
I always knew you were smart!:joyfull:

A concept I never grasped. Boss's day. I get boxing day, secretary's day and the likes, giving a kind gesture to the subordinates. How that turned around to gift the emperor's is a bit wacky to me.

I had a laugh not long ago. I had a visit to my ortho. The pre exam questionnaire asked if it was a workmans comp claim. Same from the Doc's assistant. I guess in reality it was work related but owning my own business and it is strictly a me, myself and I business it seemed irrelevant. What was I going to do, sue myself? :banghead: Oy.

Perhaps it's the rebel in me, but I disliked all of those "days" -- regardless of job title. Just seems to me that people should be acknowledged for their work contributions, by being treated nicely and compensated accordingly. Never understood why there had to be a special "day" for all this--struck me as sort of catch-up time for those individuals who were not properly showing due respect on a regular basis.

Case in point: there was a boss who was a tyrant to this staff, but made sure that flowers were delivered to his staff on admin. assistants day. Nope--didn't make up for the fact that he was a jerk all year round to them. Just treat people consistently well instead--they'd prefer that. (Obviously, there are good bosses, and both good and bad employees--I'm not disputing any of that here.) Guess I'm just jaded because I've seen the flip side of these "days" down through the years.

Weather was calm--sun was out, no ice, no nothing. After the bus trek home, I put on the dishwasher (we only run it once a week, because it's just hubs and me--we don't use a lot of dishes). However, since it wasn't Saturday, hubs had to ask me why I put on the dishwasher on a Friday afternoon o_O (routine, you know . . . ;) ).

So, I told him that since I had a few hours of freedom, I'd start one of the weekend chores now and get it out of the way. He told me I wasn't supposed to do that on my time off--I should go do something fun. But since I'm boring and practical, I was ecstatic about knocking out one of my weekend chores on a Friday afternoon! :joyfull:
OK, I need some clarification here. You consider it a chore to turn on the dishwasher? I do that once every 3 days or so, but, I also run the rinse cycle everyday. I should be shedding pounds in double digits per week. So now that you have taken care of that little chore, what do you plan on doing with the extra 45 seconds? ;):D
The time of 45 seconds was considering that you probably had to add the detergent, close the door, and either push the start button or turn the setting . Seriously?... k nob?

Primarily that question is asked because there is a completely different set of procedures involved with a workers comp. claim then one straight off one's insurance or out of pocket payment. They ask that question just so they and you know what and where payment will be expected. I doubt they know that you have your own business and probably wouldn't even think to ask unless it is a problem that the patient connects with the workplace. It may seem irrelevant, but, can save a lot of confusion, and mess later on. It also lets them know immediately who is involved in the decision making when it comes to treatment, besides the patient.

Sympathy like. I blame the change to cold weather.

Then again I heard New Jersey had been getting a flu outbreak this January and recently been on the news.

She will miss you. You guys seem to be joined at the hip like my DD and I are. Some relationships are just like that. Still we wish you the best that can be had. My goal for both of my kids was to raise productive, well educated kids that bring something to the world. I hit my goal and my job is done. Now we are besties. It is a great feeling. Now I want warmth.
The hardest part about moving south would be being away from my mom. But I also fully expect that once my brother is no longer in school that my parents will at the very least be snowbirds, if not completely moving to Hilton Head eventually, especially if I'm already down south.
