In other news.. mother thinking in getting grandmah in to an hospice or somehow find a caretaker that isnt too expensive.
You must know why. Well, my grandmah fell again.

She(my grandmother) decided she had enough of being in bed and sneakily slid out of her bed (she cant even stand, how the hell she got the great idea to try to walk towards the bathroom??!!!!). Also she weights a ton. I cant lift all of her by myself. We had to move her first to a chair from the floor, then to her bed. A whopping 30 minute struggle.
My mother had enough and gave her a good old daughter monologue.. as its the 3rd time she fell because she ignored my mother's and doctor's recommendations :/
Now imagine if I wasn't there. And both the times she fell down.. it was at night.
My mother and I are barely getting sleep because of this. I fear it might affect my mother's health (she already looks like she hadn't sleep in weeks)

Sympathy like.
Prayers to your grandmother and all of y'all.
Tough decisions to be made.
Hope y'all find the best solution possible.

No, I have never done a Disney course, in fact I have never actually played golf in Florida. Most of the time I have had my clubs with me, but, always found something else to do. When with my family, I always felt that I shouldn't be going off to play golf when it was a family trip. Besides, I love the parks, so I would have felt like I was missing out on stuff if I didn't go to them. This time, I know that a lot is under construction and anything that is currently there and operational, I have experienced before. The only reason I might go is to make sure I get one last look at some of my favorites that rumor has will be disappearing before too long. That will require a day of park hopping for me. I haven't played golf there and, much to my frustration, I have never felt skillful enough to be placed in with people that were more then likely much better players then myself. I feel to self conscious about it and would feel like I was holding others back. Just me, I guess, but, that is how I feel. I thought I would give the 9 hole course a try and see how that goes. If it is alright, then I might move myself up to one of the bigger ones next time. I would like to hit into the Mickey bunker as well.

I also have not been to Disney Springs recently. The last time I was there they were just starting construction of the parking garage. I went over there on a nasty, cool, rainy night. I couldn't find a place to park so I just pulled out and went back to my hotel. Therefore, at this point, I have no opinion about it and I would like to see it for myself.

The boys have both golfed at Disney, DS frequently for a while. There are all sorts of skill levels out there, neither of them ever felt uncomfortable and DS had been going since he was a young'n. Know you will now see warnings about alligators and snakes. :joyfull:

I have now been to the almost complete Springs 2x for a couple hours each. Really needed more time. I wrestle with that. I can shop at most of these stores in N. IL and I'm in Disney! Now the restaurants and music at night were intriguing. I'm still on the fence about the whole re-boot of DTD. I can't afford to eat lots of meals there, some can add up to $100+ per person even for lunch though you can, like anywhere, cut back on what you order. The area is pretty though-charmingly. Still we all still favored our DTD old section for shopping. I guess it is going to take me a while for my final verdict, a lot to take in. I'm not the type to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on purses on vacation or buy a $150 t-shirt so there are certainly stores I will window shop past in the future. My understanding when all this was plotted out the foreign dollars were strong. With the exchange rate flipping out it did alter a chunk of the guests Disney was aiming to please. We shall see.

Although I've been to NYC 3 times over the years, I've never seen a Broadway show.
On the bucket list, though...! :)

I haven't seen a play on Broadway either. Something is wrong when both of my kids have over the growing up years. Can't say I didn't make sure they were introduced to all sorts of culture-y things. Yet they landed on Chlorine. ;)
