We brought home a bunch of leftovers...!
I have always like Olive Garden. When I was in college we would have a splurge day, we called it our day of excess, and this was our go to restaurant. We would order lots of salad and soups and basically take our main dish home. That way we had two meals for the price of one. I wish I had some OG right now.

The countdown to midnight begins--for your happy birthday!!! Wow, a New Year's birthday!! You must always have the most festive birthday parties ever!
We'll call my pop right after midnight and wish him a happy birthday. His celebrations are a little more subdued these days.
But, we'll all be over to their place again tomorrow to celebrate his birthday and the new year.
Roasted ducks time again...!!!!!

Don't forget that WDW is live streaming the New Years Eve fireworks on the parks blog site tonight at 11:45 pm Eastern or 10:45 Central. I'm pretty sure this will be our midnight, I don't feel like staying up until actual midnight and hubby should go to bed earlier too.
So about 5 am for me
Fingers crossed that Mrs Ferret can get through next year without breaking any digits ...

OG had a similar deal to Maggiano's a while back; buy one entree, take one home. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued. But, if they do it again, I can see us fillin' up on salad and breadsticks, and takin' 2 entrees per person home for later...!
Probably why they discontinued it...!
