Me a truck. 4x4. DD lot An example of our winters. Dimples would have been sad Sir

Lilly Dimples had actually had icicles on her before, but was never frozen to the ground. ;)

And with that, I just remembered I had a pic of some icicles on the side of the road cliffs on my commute home. It happens a few times every year, and is from seeping ground water...

Cool, we get that as well. I think it is always fun to see.

Yep, definitely cool! :)
During colder winters there are many more of them. Although Jan. and Feb. are usually our colder months.
When we had 3 snows back in early '85 here, those icicles were everywhere on all the highway cliffs. Definitely looked like we were livin' someplace other than Central Texas...!!!

I was watching some old news film on the 4:30 AM news today--scary footage. Yesterday, I saw a nice story about a 104 year old survivor--he's in good shape for his age, and he was flown there for the 75th anniversary.

Very cool! And an amazing story...!!! :)
Also, very emotional for any that went through that fateful day.

The oldest US WWII veteran survivor lives here in Austin. Many stories/newscasts about him here in recent years...
