In other news, We might not get to see the fireworks today. Because the grandmah of my sister's husband is here.. and she is very ill and cant walk. And my mother insists we spend it together (groaaan).

Regardless of whether you are an introvert or not, you may not realize this but--you're so friendly that I'll bet you could make more friends very easily. My hunch is that there are many people in your area that share similar interests--especially computers, photography, etc. Both of those are really popular now, and many people are skilled in those fields or hobbies.

Are there any local, online chat rooms in your town/city where you might join and eventually meet up with a new friend(s)? Sometimes, local libraries have free meetings with guest speakers, and you might meet people there. I know you have a hearing issue, but (I don't know--am only guessing here) that the hearing issue is not enough to keep you away from conversing with others in person. Oh, churches as well, often have social get-togethers. We enjoy you here on the forum, but we'd be selfish to not want to share you with the rest of the people in your own community! :)

Sympathy like. Today is one day of the year when we don't like to go out. ok not since I moved away from the city and easy free public transportation night.
