I also keep bread in the refrigerator, even though supposedly it goes stale faster, but that hasn't been the case for me.
Me either... I find it last much longer and stays moist and fresh for quite a while. One thing though that I find a lot of people don't seem to think of doing is to make sure the package is closed up tight with as much air as possible out before it is closed up tight. Nothing will wipe out freshness then air to dry it out.

I am now salivating thinking about that yummy food. Hoop-Dee is booked for our last night. Boo-yah! :joyfull:

I really enjoy Hoop. We went for Christmas Dinner one year. Awesome way to celebrate as they weaved Christmas into the show. We were down that trip with my Sis (prego) her hubby, my family and both my Mom and Dad. Food everyone loved. Best of all my 4th grade DS (wayback time machine) got picked to go up on stage. He was a very outgoing kid and was in a chorus by then so stages and lights didn't bother him. He played Rudolf. We all enjoyed that too but especially my Dad.

That was actually the 2nd time in his young life at Disney he was picked to go onstage. He was 4 years old when he was picked to go onstage at Mickey's Birthday Land (whatever it was renamed at that point) It was the Roger Rabbit Show. The kids CMs approached that were a bit older wouldn't and there is my kid waving I'll do it!!! He did everything they asked him too and received a Roger Rabbit Hat with Roger Plush sewn to the front and a Roger T-Shirt that fit Roger. It came down to my Shins :jawdrop:

I'm sure you'll have an awesome time at Hoop. We certainly do. :)

And, that is a very sad thing to hear. Makes me worry about kids like that, for their future in the real world.

It is a different world though than most of us are brought up in so I guess I can't really wrap my brain around all that. I was brought up in a upper class town but most were not really affluent though that has changed now but there were the families that were affluent. My folks were more upper middle class I guess. My Sis and I never wanted for anything but inturn we were not raised to ask for everything and I got that more than my Sis.

Her friends were mostly from the top tier families. These kids travelled the world from young, had busy social parents, they belong to the club. They were not driving the kids to work or letting work interfere with their daily life or travel. Nor were they tolerant of petty low level managers messing with their kids when they did have jobs. At best their job was to be educated, do well and get into a high level University. They will graduate with a degree likely chosen for them and have a career path well set and likely a trust fund that will kick in.

It is just a different world than most of us dabble our toes into. I look at my Sis DD. She doesn't have cash. She has both a debit card and credit card in her wallet. She had a nanny, they have 'help' to do the chores and a guy that takes care of the outside and fixes what needs to be attended to. Yet they are wildly generous people and are always on some committee for the betterment of something....Both of our DD had the entire collection of American Dolls through there are more these days. My niece when she outgrew them took them to a woman's shelter and gave each of the girl children staying there their choice of an American Doll. The rest left behind for future shelter kids. Now I also know what you are saying, some of these kids ya just want to knock upside their heads, but I have that feeling no matter what family income level they come from there is the annoying kids.

Wow....I'm sorry I don't live by you. I'd do it for free. Well....I would take the hot chocolate if you offered, but I wouldn't demand it. :p

My Mom has a neighbor with a bobcat he keeps in his garage. He plows there very very long driveway. The neighbor behind generally shovels the walkways. Hoping that is the case tomorrow cause I'm not driving all the way out there.

$50 and no takers! They are crazy, I would do that for $50, I would even shovel for $25. Although, I like snow shoveling. I know I'm weird, I don't like cold or snow much but I don't mind shoveling at all.

You and I must be kindred spirits. We're "almost" the same, except you don't like cold weather or snow that much, BUT, you like shoveling snow!! So do I !! :joyfull: I love getting out there and throwing the stuff around. I make neat paths, too. I'm always proud of my shoveling prowess. :inlove:

I do sugar free cool whip mixed with non-dairy yogurt, or mixed with chocolate, strawberry or vanilla protein powder, or mixed with that new(ish) peanut butter powder. Sometimes throw in some banana, etc. Almost every night or if I wake up in the middle of the night.

Peanut butter powder? I think it's much more fun just eating peanut butter straight up from the jar!! :joyfull: :hungry:
