I remember, on our very first visit, getting day-of ressies at l'Original Alfredo di Roma Ristorante (Epcot - Italy).
October, 1991. Walked up at 2:00. Reserved for dinner. I had Fettucini Alfredo. Can't remember what Hubby had.
And also, same trip, we ate at the Castle for dinner. Also got day-off ressies. We both had prime rib.

I guess I remember table service meals better than counter service. Does this make me a food snob? :joyfull:
now thats what I call deep fuddie memories!

View attachment 79873 A robber was intended to hold up a gas station. Robber walks in announces robbery, robber then obviously knows the clerk though robbers face was covered with a bandanna. Robber gave clerk a thumbs up and walked out and went and robber a 7/11 instead. Clerk claims he doesn't know who was behind the bandanna.

I did exactly this in reverse last week.
Hubby was trying to remember the actor from The Godfather, and aloud, I worked my way from cappuccino to Al Pacino.
He looked at me like I was absolutely bonkers!

All the time, he asks me how I mentally got from Point A to Point B.
This will teach him - it's not a pretty process!

This video is especially funny to me, as Hubby has two recently retired cop brothers.
I can't imagine either one of them doing this.
One is a miserable SOB, who referred to himself as a garbage man - as in, all he dealt with was human garbage.
And the other is a stiff, stick-up-the-behind type.

Anyway, enjoy:

Saw this on Good Morning America yesterday morning. They staged it, and apparently these guys are gonna' make more videos.

Okay, for future reference, we'll just order double of BOTH!

Via Napoli was merely "okay" this trip ... likely not going to make the final cut on our next trip.
Probably going to try Teppan Edo instead.
Yachtsman and Narcoossee's are our new favourite 1/2, bumping The Wave down to number 3.

Teppan Edo is fun with good food. :)
Been there twice, and will likely make another ADR for our next trip...whenever that is.....

I agree. Probably one of the worst dessert options of TS.

The entrees are so good at Teppan Edo. I've never ordered dessert there, one I'm too full and the best thing was a scoop of mediocre ice cream. Pass.

The last time we were at Teppan Edo, I had the Green Tea Cheesecake for dessert. It was interesting and good enough, but, yea, nothing to write home about.

I'm unsure if I should try Epcot for eating (in my upcoming trip).
I was impressed with Coral Reef... I really like the dishes there.
I think Nine Dragons, Teppan Eddo and the german restaurant are the only ones that attract me.
The others seems kinda generic (specially the french ones. always having similar fishes, similar meats)

Oh, more proof that Disney deals with stupid people on a regular basis.

For allergies, when they prepare the allergy-free dishes, they put a toothpick-like stick that says Allergy in the food. They used to just leave it in the food when served. We've come home with a collection of them; I have no idea why my dad likes saving them.

At BOG, when my food came out, they said that they have to take those away now. Apparently, someone hurt themselves with it.o_O
Yep, you can't fix stupid - now you have to make everything idiot proof so the idiots don't wipe themselves out of existence... ;)
