Athletes are now drinking bone broth. You'll need two pounds or more of bones. :jawdrop:

Any healthy bones will do.

Ew . . . Who thinks up this crazy stuff? I mean, athletes have done quite well for many years, eating healthy, and getting the proper training and exercise. Bone juice??!!! :jawdrop:

Since you didn't have the holiday off yesterday, I'm glad that you all received a very nice consolation prize!! I like how he threw in lunch as well for all of you. :) As for the movie, I saw on the news that it broke all kinds of box office attendance records over the weekend. Glad you had such a nice surprise yesterday!

Thanks! :)
Yea, thankfully, that's just the way our firm, quite often, rolls...! ;) :)

I remember when I first saw a review of Saving Private Ryan. The reviewer said the first 30 mins. were excruciating. When DWifey and myself went and saw it, there were three elderly couples sitting in the row in front of us. Before the movie we all started up a conversation together, and come to find out they were all WWII vets. Two of the three men were involved in D-Day and follow up, and the other fought in the Pacific. Two of the wives were nurses and one was with the WAVES.
Anyway, after the movie we asked them what they thought. They said it was as close to the real intensity of what they experienced (short of a documentary, maybe) as anything they'd ever seen produced by Hollywood.
American Sniper is very much the same, in that regard. It is quite intense, indeed, and Cooper, along with most of the rest of the cast, played their roles very well. I'd go see it again.

Here's a link to a review of American Sniper by an Iraq War vet...

Thank you for sharing your (movie theater) experience with the WWII vets. The attached link was also very interesting reading.

While all the rest of you football fans will be watching the super bowl on Feb. 3, I'll be watching my favorite yearly show: Puppy Bowl IX on Animal Planet! :joyfull: :joyfull: I've seen it every year and the dogs are hilarious. They also have the kitten halftime show, and this year the headliner is Katty Furry. :hilarious:

Meanwhile there are goats in the cheerleader section, and a return performance by Meep the Bird, who "tweets" on social media during the big game. There's also hamsters up in the blimp over the field during the game.

If you get bored with football, switch over to Animal Planet for some real fun!! :p

I like watching the Puppy Bowl too. I'm not much for the Kitten Half-time show though because I'm not much of a cat person. I really think it is cute when the dogs drink out of the bowl and the shot is under the bowl.

Now who wouldn't want to give them their cash?

View attachment 79874 Ladies of TLC's are making their 5th and final album and instead of going to a record company are launching a Kickstarter campaign to have complete creative control.
Not sure of your meaning of this text but TLC isn't the first to use Kickstarter. Levar Burton did it to bring the Reading Rainbow app to the web.

I saw Saving Private Ryan though I'm not a big Tom Hanks fan. I haven't seen it in a while even though I have the movie.

I will not see American Sniper.

I will only see war movies about the Revolutionary, Civil, WWI and WWII. I got We were Soldiers as a Christmas present one year and I haven't even opened it. I have Good Morning Vietnam but that movie is really the radio behind the scenes.

I'm unsure if I should try Epcot for eating (in my upcoming trip).
I was impressed with Coral Reef... I really like the dishes there.
I think Nine Dragons, Teppan Eddo and the german restaurant are the only ones that attract me.
The others seems kinda generic (specially the french ones. always having similar fishes, similar meats)

Have loved Coral Reef and Teppan Edo every time we've eaten at both. Germany is a good buffet, although it was better years ago when you ordered from a menu. The only other table service we've eaten at in Epcot is Restaurant Marrakesh, which I enjoyed. :)
