Just woke up from a little nap, when I think of something witty. It probably comes under the heading of "know your audience". Google knows everything.

Yup, that sounds good. Our A&W sells fried Wisconsin cheese curds. They are so gooood!
That's President's Day weekend. A lot of schools are closed on Friday and Monday and being a national holiday, many people don't have to work on Monday. You may see a slightly crowded weekend.feb 10-16. Its a convention.
We go back the third week of August. The week before school is our county fair. Growing up those of us in 4-H/FFA had to load our animals, tack and equipment on Sunday (the last day of the fair and everything had to stay in place until 8 pm) then we started school the next morning. By the time we were done clearing out the fair barn, a twenty minute drive home, unloading trailers and bedding down our animals in our barn, we wouldn't get to sleep until 1 a.m. It was fun though it was hard work.We always got out mid/late June and went back the day after Labor Day. Pretty much, our summer was 2 months off. (My mother said she loved it when we all went back to school in the fall! Ha! )
Did Elsa save you a table in the winter section?
Josh's website has the weekend at 9's - busy! That's President's Day weekend. A lot of schools are closed on Friday and Monday and being a national holiday, many people don't have to work on Monday. You may see a slightly crowded weekend.
Clearly I have never been seated in "winter".
I don't think I realized that the tabletops would all be differently themed. Stands to reason, though.
yikes, I really hope it isnt that full on february.
I dont get these numbers.. is it a scale of 0 "desert of Namibia" to "abandon all hope" on level 9?Josh has those dates as 3/4/5/6/9/9/9
I concur on the cheese! Here's another shocker: I don't think I've ever seen a cheese curd, and have never noticed them for sale in the supermarket, or even advertised, here. When I saw the poutine, I thought it was french fries with a yummy gravy; I didn't realize that cheese was also in the recipe. Cheese makes everything even better. Just so you know, I actually had to look up the definition of cheese curds, and on the Google page, there were many advertisements for them--in Wisconsin!!
you cooked your pet dogs?O.k. So now for all of you celery salt fans, I bought a small bottle (McCormick) in the spices section of the market. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy finding it. They had plenty of celery seed bottles in the spices (a few different brands), but I really had to look to find celery salt. Then, I bought some hot dogs.
Last night, I cooked the dogs and tried a little celery salt. It was good and different. I had one hot dog with my usual mustard and relish. The other dog was plain, and I sprinkled a little celery salt on it. (Are you supposed to put anything else on the dog, when you use celery salt, or are you just supposed to use celery salt alone?)
Anyway, my advice to all of you who are from the Midwest, if you ever decide to relocate to New England, be sure to pack your cheese curds and celery salt with you; they're not big sellers out here.
food replicator technology is still soo far awayI wish I could reach through the screen and get whatever food is pictured on the screen.
hopefully the weekend will be the convention days. That's President's Day weekend. A lot of schools are closed on Friday and Monday and being a national holiday, many people don't have to work on Monday. You may see a slightly crowded weekend.
as per my response a page or so ago. What are the dates of your trip?
You should try it. Trade it in for your early mornings and stay out late instead! So peaceful.I really like that picture because it looks kinda spooky at night there. The absence of crowds sort of held my visual interest.
The weekend may be crowded. I know our schools are off that Monday, so others might be too. But during the week should be okay.as per my response a page or so ago.
Its on feb 10-16 :>
arriving on feb 10, leaving on 16
They're real and they're spectacular.
Allright! The weekend may be crowded. I know our schools are off that Monday, so others might be too. But during the week should be okay.
Right now, there are a lot of people here for a long weekend, plus a lot of Brazilians and other groups. Lots of cheerleaders (mostly college age, thank goodness; high school cheerleaders are obnoxious).
