We have a year and a half on our contract. Hubby said we can change too. It's just too expensive for retired people. Amazon prime is going by-by too. We don't have to buy an antenna. We never watch local channels. We get local news and weather over the Internet. I don't watch prime time T.V. shows, or sports. So much junk on T.V. we aren't utilizing. Wish I could cut the cable today. But, hubby signed the contract.:grumpy:
I dont think Amazon prime is convenient for you unless you order a ton and use the prime video and other features.
because most content gets free shipping after 15-25 USD depending the store.

Free and discount are two super words.
Yes they are we could have wound up on one of those extreme super saver shows today. I spent $12 at Joann's and the retail value was $165. Thirty five pounds of sweet potatoes for $14. The oil change and tire rotation came to $7 and so on and so on. The farm market was my doing and my dh earned all the discounts and I found some great coupons. It wound up being fun for the most part. I also managed to get my dh a fun winter project at an amazing savings with a coupon and his discount.

Thanks and I noticed that in my e-mails this morning. If I organize myself properly I can get breakfast, lunch and dinner at three different places within a mile from my apartment. Of course, I will also gain a gazillion pounds, but, who would notice? :) P.S. I have many copies of my DD 214 plus my VA Card... so I'm set.
You're welcome you've more than earned it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you got to enjoy something for your service.

Sympathy like. can you renegotiate or find out if it's worth the fee to get out of it?

I don't watch either, but SIL does, with Grandson's, while hubby sleeps, and DD and I put together a Christmas Puzzle. The grandson's will come and put in a piece, once in awhile. They used to work on the puzzle, but now it's on to football.
The boys are getting a Thomas Kinkade puzzle form Belle's shop for Christmas:joyfull: I'm glad they'll have something fun that not electronic. It's really beautiful so we're thinking of framing it and hanging it up once it's done:joyfull:

In 2018, Disney releases 4 Marvel movies and 2 Star Wars films...

There goes all my hard earned money....lol kidding. The movie I saw in theaters was Star Wars last year. I might go to Harry Potter even though I didn't like the last four. I need a pick me up.
Seeing we'll be out super early the Saturday after Thanksgiving anyway we'll see the new Potter movie that day at the cheapie matinee:joyfull:

I got stuck with the violin. I wanted to play the flute but our music teacher said I was more suited to the violin. Geeky Asian, stereotyping much:rolleyes::cautious::mad::banghead::banghead:

I played the flute and piano. It was really the only instrument I wanted to play in band. My mom forbade us to play the drums or the saxophone, which was fine by me. She also told me I couldn't play the clarinet, she couldn't stand listening to my sister learning it and didn't want to go through it again. If I had to pick again, I might pick the oboe. I think that is a pretty cool instrument.

Believe me... I am. Just my medical care alone is priceless. I wouldn't be able to be retired if it wasn't for the VA. Amazingly, it was something that I never anticipated. Up until about 5 years ago I didn't even know it was available. But, it has been a godsend. For that I thank you folks for the support. It is so much better then a thank you for your service, it is a we really do care and appreciate what you gave up and risked for us.
