:hungry::hungry::hungry: Now I'm in the mood for quinoa cakes:D

I was so happy about the coupons I got in the mail until I saw that. Congrats.

I've never had quinoa cakes but I'd be willing to try. I think on thanksgiving they only serve a thanksgiving menu, at least they did the last time I was there for turkey day.

I also got some coupons in the mail yesterday, I was excited about those too.

I'll share a picture I took in DC a few years ago

Robert G. Iger doesn't like this.
We have a year and a half on our contract. Hubby said we can change too. It's just too expensive for retired people. Amazon prime is going by-by too. We don't have to buy an antenna. We never watch local channels. We get local news and weather over the Internet. I don't watch prime time T.V. shows, or sports. So much junk on T.V. we aren't utilizing. Wish I could cut the cable today. But, hubby signed the contract.:grumpy:

Oh, that is very nice! When hubs was a kid, their school would appoint a kid each week to be the "flag student". The student was responsible for taking the flag outside to the school janitor, and would assist in raising the flag in the morning, and taking down in the afternoon. We didn't have that my elementary school, but I did get to draw a flag on Veterans Day with our crayons. :)
Our elementary school did the same thing, except only boy's were allowed to participate.

Wait! I managed to hop on for the first time in a few weeks just in time for a music discussion?? How fortuitous! Except that guitar is one of the weakest links in my musical repertoire. Although I spent 4 years playing bass in a classic rock/oldies band, keyboard and brass instruments are really where I live. I had a nice Yamaha dreadnought-style acoustic that gathered a lot of dust and got me to learn about 6 chords and how to barre. Donated it to 'that school' where I used to teach a few years back. Now I'm missing it!
I learned classical piano. Then branched out to popular titles. I still like Classical though.

There is an upscale neighborhood here that we design a lot of houses in that, for the last several years, has required all homes to have fire sprinklers.
A very hilly area, so water pressures, pipe diameters, etc., have to be tested and approved.
So, if your stuff doesn't get all burned up, it now gets completely destroyed by soaking water instead. :cyclops: ;)
:hilarious:
