Sympathy likeYou have such a wonderful place to go to. Your farm markets are so much better than ours. I still keep trying them out, but they just keep failing in so many ways. Can you say, onions that can't be cut from being so hard. Colorado has to be the worst place to grown anything, but peaches, and corn! I'm now like hubby and can consume neither!
Curious, what bank. Want to avoid that.@FutureCEO
Oy. I so agree. It seems when they come to their credit/debit cards some cashiers just do not let up. I just keep repeating No thank you.
At BOA I had a branch manager insert herself into my banking with a teller. Wanted to upgrade my credit card and she wasn't getting anywhere with me....finally she says in a pretty belligerent demeaning way...so you have no interest in saving money or free cash? Me, Excuse me, that was an uncalled, editorial comment and I do not like be harassed as I bank. May I have your business card please?
Deer in headlight turn around attitude. Too late Missy. BOA should take a lesson from Wells and the trouble they got themselves into with sales tactics to employees performance reviews.
Yup, I use all food bags for trash. Save's a bunch on trash bags. I reuse grocery bags for trash, when I cook a big meal!Nope not happening. If bread can go moldy in a plastic bag so can the left behind bread crumbs.
My friend uses bags from bread and newspaper to pick up after her Pup on walks. That to me is a better reuse.
Wow, daffodils, and those colors! What a wonderful picture!
We watched Disney's A Christmas Carol this past weekend.I'm happy I just pulled out the holiday movie box, I'm in the mood for a Charlie Brown ThanksgivingI know it's too early but I really want to put in The Muppets Christmas Carol

They sadly dont sell these here as far I know. Might be useful! We can have compost bins. There are commercial ones you can purchase that are good at breaking down quicker and have been designed to keep bugs and critters out. I won't but I have friends that do.
argh, I get tht a lot, but via phone..@FutureCEO

I hate this time change. People with migraine's don't adjust well. I've also had two asthma attacks over the last two day's. I can't breathe and it's so dry with all the leaves blowing around. I went to the grocery and went into the cold section, and almost passed out and almost threw up. I couldn't breath, until I used my emergency inhaler. The manager was so nice. He wanted to help. I told him I would be fine after using the inhaler. Times are tough for everyone. But, I did finish most of my shopping. Thanks to hubby, he took me to the car, turned on the heat to help me breathe. Then I went to air. Asthma is a funny thing, too cold...not good...too hot....not good. I need to live in a bubble. Until we get some rain, to clear out all the molds, from drying leaves. Hubby cleaned up our leaves, but the neighbor's just let them blow, so they don't have to do the work. My next home is a high rise. I'm done with living with all these allergies. Rant over! It's 5:30, it's dark already, I want to go to bed.
Those in power need to know that this time change isn't helpful!Sympathy like.
Yep, that's something I don't like about this time of year. Since we work 8a-6p, except for Half-day Friday, I drive home in the dark every night during the week...![]()
Great idea!It is the one on National Parkway, Hilton was running deals and I ended up getting it for $78 for the night and then tax. I really considered the Hampton Inn but that was more expensive. I want to say it was about $130, and even though it includes breakfast we will probably want to have a good hearty breakfast somewhere as my sister-in-law isn't a great cook. It was tempting since it is brand new though. We wanted to do a Hilton hotel, that will top off our points for the year.
Me too. I want a peaceful year, with no illness for anyone on here. Just a quiet year.I dont know you but considering all drama, violence, accidents and weird stuff of this year.. I'm sort of thankful its over and hope for gods sake that 2017 is better x_X
I hate this time change too. My neighbor is having his patio taken out. I've lived with the jack hammer all day. Can anyone say, I'm going crazy?Good morning. I'm not liking the change in time at all!!!!!!! My body hasn't settled into the difference and it's dark way too early. At least I let the guys sleep in yesterday and I finished up a few projects, got the laundry caught up and some things organized![]()
I love, Jack the dog. Looks a little like Wiggles, our dog. I love mutts!Sometimes, all the extra work you do reminds me of this.

That's a turkey I can love...chocolate and rice crispie treats!
Okay, I want this little dog!
So sorry about the food poisoning, hubby got food poisoning eating at his boss's house, on scallops. Under cooked, so did all the other people invited for the meal. That was one time, that wives weren't invited , and I was so glad. My Doctor said to have Elderberry Wine, to drink for food poisoning. It worked for hubby. We keep a bottle around, just in case.I've had food poisoning twice. Both from restaurants though. I am beyond cautious. The first time it was apparently from butter left on table, then back to fridge and back to table next day. (I no longer butter bread in a restaurant) I was beyond sick, thought I was going to die and actually during it all wished for it. Horrid.
Yeah we have the same laws here too. People are funny though and claim Pup owners do not look after what they leave behind on our Riverwalk. What they fail to think through is Pups are not the only critters that visit the wooded area. Where do they believe the deer, fox, coyotes, raccoons etc go...to the reststop off the tollway?
We aren't allowed compost of any kind in our neighborhood. It's part of our by laws. We live in a crazy place. We can have compost bins. There are commercial ones you can purchase that are good at breaking down quicker and have been designed to keep bugs and critters out. I won't but I have friends that do.
