speaking of random stuff.

Remember my rant about the bots/thiefs commenting non stop on my sales in ebay and the mexican ebay equivalent? (aka some guys trying to defraud me)

I have been playing along with this one just to get information of them.

Interestingly, they all have the same writing style (clearly a programmed bot), but they keep changing the mailing address of where to ship the goods.
This time its a ghetto in Illinois (semi vacant lot full of what seems low income mobile homes and apartments)

The hilarity is: This guy is clearly from the US and should speak english. Yet insists in "speaking" broken spanish by using google translate.

So I suspect its a band to defraud mercadolibre's vendors(Mexico's ebay equivalent).
Since the products will be moved elsewhere and the money will never be deposited... they have no possibility to complain or accuse the defrauders of a crime .

Anyway, I'm going to try to bait him to throw his ID with photo.

Oh Honey, you would be surprised at how many people in the United States do not speak English and are not in any hurry or have desire to learn. We have 4 ESL teachers and our town is small. The practice is to teach children the parents native language and they'll 'just pick up English' in school attitude. :cautious: But you obviously know people faking Spanish like we know those faking English.

Do know anyone can pick up fake IDs anywhere here. Just ask any underaged college student.

Wow. The only problem with that is now the school year will extend well into June for her.

Meanwhile, I hope she's enjoying the time off. I absolutely loved snow days as a kid. :joyfull: :joyfull: I've often thought that when the schools are shut down, businesses should also close. (I wish I was a kid again . . . does being in my second childhood count? o_O )

Ha!

Yeah the businesses don't close so the parents that work outside the home are in a real pickle when school is called off this many days.

Yes, when you're done with school and out on your own, you'll pay much closer attention to such idiotic things, 'cause they'll hit you right where it counts.
Have I mentioned that I think ALL politicians are fly larvae...?

I like how our school district operates. To raise property taxes we must put it on the ballot and the referendum must pass. If voters say no, no tax increase beyond the CPI. I like that residents have that control.

its been almost 2 days and no answer from him.
Pretty sure he will be avoiding my products. or I will be pesting him again and again with the same questions.

Crowds calmed down at the parade, as expected. Still in MK. My mom went back to the room. My dad and brother are in line for Astro Orbitor, the one ride that makes me incredibly motion sick. I am parked on a bench with a Poweraid and some jelly beans.

Didn't eat in the ballroom at BOG; got assigned to the music box room. Normaly, I prefer the ballroom, but the music box room was so quiet and did not have a lot of people. It was a nice break. Dinner was leisurely; took about 2 hours. We even got dessert. By the time we got back out, waits were more reasonable.

Story of the night: there were two boys behind me on Space Mountian, I guess about 13 or 14. So obnoxious the entire ride, and even before the ride. The lights were partially on thanks to a PeopleMover breakdown, so they were yelling about it the entire time, using non family language. I wanted to turn around and tell both of them to knock it off, but didn't. Especially wanted to when they started chanting, "We want a refund!" Well, we got off, and they complain to the CM, a CP kid, about the lights being on. "That's not my fault," she says. Then, they ask for a refund. "Yeah, that's above my paygrade," she told them. :joyfull: I thanked her for telling them off. I'm sure she was not supposed to do that, nor would she get away with saying that to an adult, but it made them shut up, so she made other guests happy. I'm beginning to understand some of the complaints about teenagers...not that I ever would have acted that way when I was their age.

Oh, and some pics...

Weather was absolutely gorgeous today. 70s and sunny. I didn't care about not getting much done; I just soaked it up!
