EEEKKKKKKK I just realized I'm going to be very busy the week between Christmas and New Year. I can't hem anything I'm making the boys for Christmas because I'm sure they will grow if I hem them now. In fact I made James items just a bit big knowing that will happen. On top of that we may be hosting a New Year's party, I don't want to, nope, no way not going to be fun for us at all. I don't mind Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve and day but I think NYE will just be one party to many! Not to mention it's for the kiddos:cautious:
Wow, that's a lot to take on. Hope you can sail through all of your obligations!

LOVE IT!!! What a fun group! :)

(At the hospital where I work, some of the pediatric patients get dressed up in Halloween costumes, and the staff wheels them around in wheelchairs, down the elevators to the first level. People passing by them put treats in their bags. The little kids only stay for about 10 minutes, as they're not well. Then they get wheeled back up to their patient rooms. But they get all excited during this brief time, because they still get to trick or treat, even while in a hospital.)

R2D2 and Rey (yes, my costume coordinates with my dog's)

Passing out candy, and this was what a group of three kids told me:
1. "I like you costume! She's my favorite character!"
2. "I like your costume too!"
3. "I don't know who you are but I like your costume.":hilarious:

That is very sweet for those kids. I'm sure its tough being in the hospital and sick, so it is nice that they get a little bit of normal kid stuff.

So had a a check up today with my doctor nothing big. But I finally asked him to check out my foot that has been hurting since after my 2 week trip to WDW in June and it has been confirmed that it is indeed a stress fracture. No cast or boot, just have to wrap it up during the day & during activity. I'm glad I don't have to get anything more than this because I would have refused. There's no way I'm wearing a cast during my cruise....I need to wade out to the sandbar on the adult beaches at Castaway Cay!

Sympathy like (about the fracture, not the cruise ;)).
Hope it's healing well!
Enjoy the cruise (if you haven't already gone on it :cyclops: - I'm 50+ pages behind again...)...!!! :)

@donaldtoo it is pretty cool that your office dresses up for Halloween. I'm not much into costumes but it is nice to see other dress up. I did wear my Halloween Minnie Mouse ears today and a Disney Halloween shirt to school. The kids gave me a lot of compliments on my ears. One kid said, "I just knew you would be Minnie today!"

Hahaaa...! Cool!
Thanks! :)
I haven't dressed up for the office in years. We all used to do it, even the partners.
Only one partner wore a "costume" this year...he wore a white t-shirt over his dress shirt with the word LIFE printed on it in big black letters and had a grocery bag full of lemons he was handing out to everyone...!!! :hilarious:
As you probably saw in the pic, the simplest employee costume was a clear half-round umbrella that had big googly eyes and streamers stuck to it to look like a jellyfish...! :)

Thanks! The foot is feeling a little better. I wrapped it like the doctor said for a couple days and it hurt worse than it did unwrapped. So I have kept it unwrapped and work flat shoes (without an arch) and the foot is feeling better.

The cruise is the day after Thanksgiving, I'm really looking forward to it.
