Are you ready for trick or treater's. We are expecting a lot more this year, with the warm weather. Bought an extra box of assorted chips! Gotta have the salty with the sweet, you know!
I escaped the little buggers this year. Our area did something called trunk or treat. The kiddos all gathered at a central location so seeing James went to a party over the weekend I sent stuff with a friend who went to the festivities for younger kiddos. Which was fine by me.

I like your thoughts, a bizillion times! I hate clothing shopping. When I find something that fits, I try one of every pants in my size, the exact same pants. Some fit and some don't. But when they do fit, I get all I can in the same size. People probably think I never change my pants!:D
Me too I have several pairs of jeans all the same brand mid rise boot cut in a dark denim, quite a few pairs of black fleece pants, fleece leggings again black. Now I realize I need to get out of a fashion rut. Time for some leopard leggings:D

She can wear childrens dresses, some Ts, skirts, shorts but not pants or jeans. Too short and don't fit between waist to down there.
She generally wears Express Jeans but she could never order online cause the sizes vary by style.

Me I like midrise jeans. Unfortunately most of them have material for hips. Never having hips I wind up having these puckers of material. Hate Jean Shopping.
Yup jean shopping stinks. I recently found a pair of jeans that were perfect but just a bit short so I added navy blue eyelet trim to the bottom. Problem solved. :joyfull:

After the sticker shock of finding out what out cable bill will be next year we are getting rid of it. My dh is picking up an antenna for our local stations and getting a roku box because not all of out tvs are smart. The cost of both hulu and netflix are way, way, way cheaper than cable. We already have netflix and are doing a free trial for hulu and may keep both depending on how much we use hulu. We also agree with @StarWarsGirl Amazon Pime<Netflix. I hope this all works out

I'm waiting to see what Hulu comes out with the TV package next year. Since NBC and Fox owns Hulu too, I hope there is soccer.

Yah, it's really discouraging. I have Direct TV, but I also have over-the-air antennas on the tv's. We tried those, because we wanted to see what kind of reception we got on the local channels. It all depends on where you live, how strong the antenna signal is. (Our antennas are indoor ones--and very reasonably priced.)

I'd suggest you buy at least one antenna now and hook it up--to experiment and see what kind of reception you have. Some signals are stronger than others--just depends on the distance your house is from where the signal is broadcast from. Also, sometimes, the signal is sharp and clear (in HD, actually--nice), but sometimes it cuts in and out--there's no real rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes even just the time of day can impact your reception. Overall, I give the over-the-air option in my area a 65-70% for reliability.

So for us, the main use now for the antenna is if we get a bad storm, and the Direct TV satellite goes out--I still have the over-the-air options (but just for local stations). And sometimes when the reception is crystal clear without any interruptions on a local station, I'll be using the antenna, just to get the HD picture (we don't have HD in Direct TV as we didn't want to pay eve MORE for that option . . .).

Is it an indoor one, or one that you put on the roof? (I've heard that the roof ones are the best, although the indoor ones are starting to get better.)

I watch a lot of broadcast (local channels) TV, but primarily just the local news, weather, traffic, in the mornings. Then I watch a lot of cable/satellite channels--again, all the news ones are my top choice, but also fun stuff like E, Bravo, TLC, NatGeo, etc.

A rood one and I'm not installing it LOL. So far the boys like hulu because it has most of what they watch if all goes well we'll upgrade to the no commercial package. That and netflix comes to about 1/10 of what the cable croks charge and we won't even lose any channels we watch
