I guess that even after setting a park in China.. Iger cant fathom to make a chinese story about china, but instead they want to "westernize it and make it "distinctly chinese"".

Afraid the 707 was before my time. They were removed when I finally managed to fly. I think the first plane I did fly with was definitively a 727.
Those were the standard and most common planes from the biggest then airline of mexico (Mexican de Aviacion).

My father in the other hand, might have had the experience. I think he even flew with the old Douglas DC6's (he was a poltician and had to meet with high officials as our local town grew into a vacation spot worldwide)

Yes, I've flown in a DC-3 and a Lockheed Constellation, but, I'm not sure about the DC-6, 7, or 8. I'd have to ask my folks.
Definitely 9's, 10's, and MDs. :)

Must have been an exciting time for y'all and your father...! :)

I'm pretty sure that's why we drive! Saves a chunk of money (that is usually spent on drinks in the World) and we know we will be on the road for 15-18 hours total (including breaks). As opposed to every time we've flown and what looks like a couple hours in airports and a couple hours on planes and maybe 7 hours total ends up being 10+ hours every time and a very high level of aggravation. I'd rather drive and have some quality family time on the road! We bring our own craziness!!

Nope, not ever gonna' do it from here. It's 22 hrs. each way, barring any construction delays, problems along the way, etc. The longest we have ever been able to go is a week. Even If we drove 11 hrs. a day, that would still only leave 3 days for us at Walley World ;), tops.
This way we get 6-day Hoppers. :)
Most of our flights have been on Southwest with minimal problems. Plus, I can drink on the plane. ;) Main gear off the runway at ABIA to main gear touchdown at MCO...roughly 3 hrs....! :)

Good morning I love my dh but there's a reason my MIL and I don't let him near out kitchens! He's color blind or never pays attention! He can't claim color blind he gets checked for that every year! My crockpots are blue and my MILs are red and smaller than mine. Any way last week after the family party he offered to load the cars for us as we did most of the cooking and such. I should have known that wouldn't end well! He put 2 of my crock pots in her trunk and hers in mine. I really didn't notice because the boys put them away(they should have noticed) and I haven't needed them yet. Imagine my surprise yesterday at the crack of dawn when she called and asked where they were! She called him the day after the party to let him know he screwed up and he was supposed to swap them one day after work. Does he say something to me about it nope! I was only a couple of miles from her house one day last week.:banghead: Guess who had to swap them last night, not me:D
