Id actually would love to see mimmie send Mexico some of her cold air.
Its still toasty over here.. Its been 30++ Celsius for months now. with thermals of above 36C.

We had lots of fun and James was very helpful picking apples, M not so much, he's not a fan:cautious:

Thank you. Both my grandmothers crocheted, sewed, knitted and embroidered so I learned most of that from them except for quilting. We had a friend of the family who was an amazing quilter, I'm the only one who quilts:( My James does some plastic canvas projects when he has the time. As for general crafting I was very lucky in grammar school I had an art teacher who introduced us to many different crafts.

My DD took an elective in high school and learned to quilt and she is quite good at it. Me, I've never tried. She took pieces of all her swim team beach towels and then the back was one of those beach towels that are huge to sit upon. It is Queen Sized. For the Love of God is that thing heavy and warm. She only can use it when she is really sick and freezing but at least while ill it casts off happy memories of her youth. It has to go to the laundry in a Jumbo machine by itself, it would kill any home washing machine. I never enjoyed crochete though my Mom is good at it and I learned just never felt the love. I can paint, can't draw but when I paint murals I need to pick out something I like and duplicate it, not so good when it comes to the creativity part of painting but I can lift others talent. I've made almost every set of drapes in our home. Not that I love doing it but hate most ready made drapes and custom, well I'm not paying those prices. My kitchen curtains are 2 fabrics pleated together. They turned out awesome and then are lined in white. Something about patterns and colors I don't like the look from outside so I line them.
