At least they don't sting you.
Bats will get stuck in your hair. No joke, seen it. Rabies carrying things. When we were young they would fly out at night from an area near where our friends camp. Back then, not knowing any better, the older boys would throw up a mini Nerf football and the bats would attack it, get their claws stuck and try to land unsuccessfully. Then the boys would use a stick to get them unstuck and we'd run yelling in the opposite direction. :facepalm:

Stupid things we did as kids. We'd get bats and birds in our house through the chimney growing up too. Open the doors and try to get them out or, my style, run around the house with a laundry basket and try to catch them. :oops:

Yea, the girls had a bit of craziness this morning at MCO, and then with a connecting flight later in Atlanta.
Seems to always be a little bit of travel craziness somewhere along the way...! :confused: ;) :)
My ex is being whiny about flying through Atlanta to MCO. Granted, I'm not a fan either, but other routes are $200 more a person and the one other flight is Akron to Baltimore to Orlando. Almost 8 hours to get there. Ummm, no. Hello Atlanta.

Mulan falling in love with a white guy during the huns attack, really?
to make it worse.. theres rumors that the "white dude" a sailor, will be the "hero".

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I guess that even after setting a park in China.. Iger cant fathom to make a chinese story about china, but instead they want to "westernize it and make it "distinctly chinese"". :rolleyes:
Perhaps, they weren't as bigoted, close minded and disgusting as we are now. Even met a child that wasn't taught to hate, hating people for their race? Seems like it is more of an effort to end that kind of thinking instead of promoting it.

I dont think so, the whitewashing has been a problem with Hollywood rich white executives for a long time.
Even casting white actors and painting them black faces or Asian faces instead of actually hiring native actors for portrayals of foreign tales.

I still remember M. Night Shymalan saying that some of the producers forcefully demanded to have certain characters changed to fit "white kids". for The Last Airbender (who the only Asian actor was one of the bad guys). Or the most resonant case of the past years.. the PAN Native american girl.. was replaced by the whitest girl you can imagine. Despite the availability of real native american young girl actors available for this.

That might be true, but, do you know if any actually auditioned for the parts? Are you able to determine that those that did had sufficient talent to do the job. I will agree that there have been many situations where that happened. Marlon Brando, for example, playing an asian by using rubber bands to pull the corners of this eyes upward. You may be right about those real native american young girl actors, but, do we know for sure that they had the ability? Maybe they did, but, I don't see how we are in a position to make the judgment.
