Whelp, if I am ever in line at Starbucks at that absurd hour again, you'll know.

We were actually waking up to leave the house at 3 am. :jawdrop: No one got out of bed until 10 am today.

Yes I will! :p And sleeping in is a blessing of a long trip during the summer, you then have enough energy to stay during the cooler hours when others bail.

We are normally up by 1 or 2 am for the first flight out at 6am. Last trip taxi didn't show up, scared the bejeebers out of me. Then when they sent one the dude was sick. I opened my window and buried my head in my coat. I'm a wimp like that. :D

The Plaza is good for what you pay for which is Disney is going higher price with everything now. Since they are going walk ins only, we might not go back (my Dad likes to makes reservations, walking up would scare him ) What Disney lacks in the Magic Kingdom and MGM is a good quality sit down restaurant that has reasonable prices.
Colombia harbor House is great.

I've lost track of how many times we have gone to DW. I've never gone to Disney Land.

Me too! I can come close to counting for WDW not so much for DL, I was younger and my Mom doesnt retain things like that and of course Mother threw out all my souvenirs long ago from those trips.

I'll likely be dead, by that time!:rolleyes::D

How 'bout it? Just look at how long WoL has been abandoned.

The worst thing I cannot wrap my brain around is River Country. Why Why not raze that mosquito breeding ground? I just don't understand the need to let that continue to rot at Ft Wilderness.

My husband and grandson went to the pet store yesterday to pick up my grandson's new guinea pig cage. My husband comes home with the ridiculous idea to buy a prairie dog. My husband said. They are so cute. I google prairie dogs today, and found out just how vicious they are. The last thing I need in my house is a rodent. If my grandson did not live two floors above my head, he would not have 1/2 the pets that he now has.

A question for all you legal drinkers out there...

Tuesday will be my first time in Epcot since hitting the big 2-1. So my question is...where to start? I don't like beer, but I enjoy pretty much anything else. I prefer sweeter drinks or tangy drinks, and wine is always a hit.

Thanks!

I rarely drink, but when I do, I like sweet drinks. I'm probably the least liquor-enlighted person here. However, I can tell you that in EPCOT, over at the Japan pavilion, if you go to the QS restaurant (Katsura Grill), they have plum wine which is sweet. I usually get some sort of combo teriyaki/rice plate and a glass (they pour a small glass) of plum wine. It's sweet and tasty. :hungry:

Dogs, cats and birds are nice family pets. Beyond that, I can't say as though I'd recommend any other pet--unless you have a nice farm or ranch and can have horses, etc.

I have never done the "drink around Epcot" thing. Then again, I am not a drinker. I do remember with a chuckle the year my grandson knocked his mom's margarita out of her hand by accident. At least, I think it was an accident. He was 10, and he did not like his mom drinking. Normally, she was a pepsi girl.

At the beginning of the summer my husband had to got to South Dakota for a church mission trip. Hebrought me back a prairie dog because I thought they were cute when we drove out west a few years ago. Luckily mine is just a plush! No rodents for me either!

So, I just revealed to Phil that I am taking him to Key West for his birthday next month and he was so happy that he has agreed to go back to WDW on the dates of my choice! Who-hoo!!

Getting ready to book but for when? Food and Wine? Holidays? Wait until next summer when more things will be open? Any opinions?

PS - I don't know when the hell I became sugar daddy of the universe, but oh well.........

PPS - Happy Saturday everyone!

Great news! Key West and WDW sounds fantastic. I guess the real question is how long can you wait for WDW? If you went mid-November you could see some holiday stuff and do Food and Wine. But if you want to wait until next summer Pandora might be open, they are saying likely summer of 2017 but who knows with Disney. Although if you pick the cooler months it won't be so oppressively hot and maybe less crowded so maybe Phil would enjoy himself more and be willing to go again.

I remember many trips staying at Pop and staring across the lake at the empty shells of buildings. One time I remembered to pack binoculars and on our non-park day we tried to see as much as we could by walking as far on the bridge as we could.

Have y'all been able to visit the resort since it opened as AoA?
When we stayed in a Cars family suite in July of '12, the only sections open were Nemo and Cars. Those two sections were very cool, but, we've not been back since The Lion King and Little Mermaid sections were completed.
