why on earth they think that is a good idea??

So you can't tether onto a bag? So small children can't hold onto? So people with disabilities like naturopathy will struggle?
Or so the mug will be cheaper to manufacture? Cheaper to ship?

This is the before and after photo from Facebook/Chip & Co. Don't know who actually took the photo.

It is really silly to get ride of the handle. As you pointed out there are so many reasons to have a handle. Someone needs to rethink this idea.

I bought the birds, a bell toy, a ladder, and a mirror. I also got a few extra smaller feeding dishes, and seed food. Has anyone fed their parakeets people food. Fruits and vegetables. We thought we might try some of those. I have a box turtle that loves sweet potatoes, and avocado. Although, I know not to give avocado to a parakeet. I read that.

Good morning chit chatters! I hope you had a good weekend! I'm going through a little Disneyland withdrawl today especially since our annual passes officially expired yesterday. :( And for some reason it has been tough to adjust back to Central time after being on the west coast, I've been dragging a little. I guess I'm getting old. I planned to get up early take the dog for a walk and clean my porch. Instead I woke up around 8:30 had my coffee and now don't feel like getting anything done. I think I will allow myself another lazy day and tomorrow I'll get something done. My dog doesn't seem to mind another lazy day! :)
I am so sorry to hear about the withdrawal and the expiring. It must be especially hard to come at you all at once, like that. I have been having a particularly rough Monday, too. But I think mine is because my DD talked me into a tent over in the back yard last night. So, nope, haven't accomplished a thing.

My walk to the pet store this morning made my foot hurt even worse than it had before. The inserts from the doctor/podiatrist are super hard, and my heel is screaming at me. So I have taken some ibuprofen, and staying off my foot. Good chance to catch up on some crocheting.
As someone who has one leg smaller than the other.. the heels and expansions do indeed hurt.. because they are pretty much hardfixing the wrong way you were used to walk and press with your foot.

the pain should stop or at least reduce as your body ad just to the correct position/proportions.

My guess is that birds have a similar sort of feeding schedule, just like cats and dogs. Did the pet store give you any guidelines, such as putting the food in the dish once a day, for example? It's tempting to overfeed the pets that we all love, but they're better off being fed the appropriate amount for their weight. They'll be healthier that way. We give our dog the occasional treat, but really watch the amount of food he gets. Seems to work--he's as strong as a bull.

Just shaking my head . . . Now, I've never bought the refillable mug, but I know that for families in particular, it's great. I believe that mugs with handles are safer and less likely to tip over, because people have a better grasp of them. Specifically, I'm bringing this up with regard to hot drinks like coffee, tea, etc. This is not the best idea they've come up with . . . :banghead:

Thanks, and sorry to hear that you are having a rough Monday too. Hopefully it got a little better. Although if you had to sleep in a tent last night, I can understand a rough morning.
