Quick question as you know we're also going to UNI and Kennedy do you want pics of those but be careful what you ask for it's going to be our first time at UNI and my boys LOVE Potter so there will be lots and lots of pics, both food and sights. Kennedy will just be the sights the food there is horrid!

Yes, indeed, if you go to Kennedy, I'd love to see those photos. Back in '85 my mother and I went there--it was very exciting. I'm sure there have been some updates, etc. since then, so I'd be curious to see how it looks now. (Funny you should mention the food, because I wasn't thrilled with the food concession there either--back then it was all deep fried stuff which really turned us off, especially in the hot weather of Florida. We wanted something light, but that didn't happen! Still, no big deal--it was just one meal out of all the days we wee on vacation.)

There's been many updates since then. The new building for Atlantis is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! We got in for the first soft open last trip and we want to see the finished product this time as not all of the exhibits in it were done yet.Happy to see whatever photos you want to take. I'll definitely check out your TR once you've posted it when you return.

Left the office a little early 'cause there was a storm movin' in. Shoulda' left about 15 minutes earlier. About halfway down my old country back road, the bottom dropped out.
High winds, heavy downpour with rain coming down sideways in sheets.
By the time I got near the house, the wind had calmed down, but, it was still pouring. Water running everywhere.
We needed it, though. First good rain in a few weeks.
I'm just glad that you made it home safely.

Ya know ... It has been FAR too long since I last posted anywhere on this site. Look what has happened! Maybe I'll stop lurking and start participating again. I still love Disney, even with their foibles and mis-steps over the past few years. Going back again to celebrate my 60th in a couple of months. I will NEVER grow up!

Happy news.45,000 animals adopted out by the Clear The Shelters campaign this weekend. I love this photo where one shelter in Texas adopted out all of their animals a day early, all 310 of them. Then they posted this:
