Someday I'd like to try the 4 park challenge. It isn't rare for us to do two parks in a day, actually very common. On weird days with weather we will sometimes hit 3. A couple years ago we had the best day with rain hopping to three parks. We managed to hit some great attractions during downpours, come out to breaks in rain and repeat. All the stars aligned in our favor even though it rained from around 8am till 5pm.
We ended it with AK walking onto everything with zip wait and concluded our day at Flame with ribs. 4 parks is on my bucket list.

He became my special Rib slurping friend at Flame. I know you are not suppose to feed but you know when your choices are to feed or be attacked. I shared. He was grateful, as was I.

and the other Pic is of shoes I wanted. Minnie.
This guy is always near that area. and with a voracious appetite.
I think I remember taking a photo of him all the way to 2013 (my first WDW trip).
Was still there fine and dandy on my 2015. Didnt see him on 2016. too busy wading the crowds lol.

your car got hit by random debris from trucks? or rocks from the road?

My windshield is a haven for rocks. Mostly from the road and falling from trees....the little pebbles that you would think wouldn't do any harm but your going 60 mph. But anyway, the car place just said to keep your inspection paperwork with you until it's time to inspect it again which is not until Jan 2018 but I hope to have a new car before then. That's if I get a new job that pays more.

Anyway....I made cookies. Banana, Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip. I have to find a way to transfer my picture from my phone.

He sure does have a voracious appetite and he is beyond bold. That was our 3rd park, it had rained all day and finally had stopped.
This is one of the reasons I don't enjoy eating outdoors. He is a tall little booger and he knows how to use that very long, sharp and pointy beak of his.

I know I'm not to feed critters. Rarely do I on vacation or at home. He is very tall and just jabs at your food on the table if you don't toss something away from the table. With so few people in the seating area or the park he just would not leave our food alone on the table and the Cast cleaning up and around did nothing to move him along. (I don't blame the CMs, animal control so not their responsibility.)

I like the ducks better even though he is a handsome dude.

I got a phone call today with the results of my X-ray from yesterday. The Xray showed that I definitely have a bone spur in my foot, and I also have tendonitis. The doctor's office was calling to make sure that I had made my appointment with the podiatrist. I informed them of my Tuesday appointment.

My trip is just 37 days away. I won't stress out too much about this, now that I have a diagnosis. I can now make an informed decision for my best plan of action to take care of my foot, and enjoy my up and coming vacation.

Sorry to hear it's a bone spur, but at least you know what it is.

I hope you find a solution to keeping your foot comfortable for your upcoming trip. And if worse comes to worse, you can always rent an ECV down there, even if you only used it for a few hours a day.

We're having extreme hotness today but no rain. :( I'd rather have a heat advisory than a blizzard warning.
I'm right there with ya! No more winter. They keep talking about global warming....maybe it will hit the Rockies, some day. ;) (There goes the hot buttered rum and skiing). Nope we need winter for our water supply. Lots of snow (only in the upper mountains!)

I remember when I was little a friend worked at McD's and her uniform was polyester. That was the early seventies.
Our daughter wore one of those too. She was the french fryer cook. Until she passed out from the heat. She was on the register from that day forward. She paid for her extra school things, cheering, dance squad, thespians, year book writer. Yes, she has always been very busy. She hates to have spare time. I was that way when I was young, until I had a tumor on my thyroid gland. I now have a very slow thyroid, and gain weight easily. I eat mainly veggies, no fruit, and very little meat. I do like my bread, but I'm slowly giving that up too. I'm glad I like veggies.

I honestly do not believe that. Thats why we moved her to our house.
She probably did this everytime she was alone at her home. (and she fell a few times there..)
problem is now.. a single fall would be fatal for her. x_x
:inlove:when her time comes....she will go...no matter the circumstances. We have always lived this way, when your time comes you will go no matter what. That's why we flew right after 9 11. If it wasn't our time, nothing would happen. I'm still here, so no hit , no foul!

I did a load of laundry yesterday too but it was so humid I was afraid it would take too long to dry outside so I just popped time in the dryer. They probably would have dried okay, but I also didn't want to upset the dog. When clothes are hangin on the line she thinks they are something to bark at! :)

Whenever we have decorations or something new upfront Walt goes full out guard dog. Lord forbid should I put out the American Flag-it is all over then. :arghh:

In other news, I had a fury filled morning.
Mother wakes me, angry because "I didnt woke up in time" and im like.. "in time for what?"
"for you to drive me to the bus station" GEE MOM, THANKS FOR TELLING ME YESTERDAY!

So finally hurry to get a quick shower.. get out, get shoes and everything ready.. wait by the door.. and wait.. and wait.. and my mother doesnt come down.. go try to find her and shout about time.. She complains that she is in the bathroom.
She was in the bathroom herself and took 45 minutes to get ready. GEEE MOMMMMM
So much for complaining how "I take too long". :banghead:

So, we finally get to the car, we drive.. and halfway there.. "I FORGOT MY BUS PASS" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
:banghead::banghead:

So off we return.
Pass a lot of traffic and leave her on the bus station.
Mere 15 minutes later I receive a message "I forgot my reading glasses" .

Uo3wfw7.gif

But she doesn't only messages me. She calls me, calls the cleaning lady and hurries me to get there.
So I had to run at over the speed limit, hope the goodarn transit police didn't get near me.
Deliver the goodarn glasses and back home.

I swear I was expecting something worse later like " I forgot my wallet" or something like that...
Sorry!

My Sis was the same way immediately after 9/11, she came home the weekend after the FAA put planes back up in the air once again and brought along her little toddler too. It was only about a week later but my Sis is a determined woman but about the time she came to visit was when all the real and subsequently fake anthrax letters started to be delivered. It took a little bit for me to settle back into everyday life.

We as a school board also had to create some new policies over all that and it was rough. We had to discuss a lot of WHAT IFs and after a while in those committee meetings we began to sound like Criminal Minds staff writers. It was an uneasy time.

Sleep numbers are the best, I would book it just for that. I think our next bed will be sleep number.
We got a sleep number bed after I ruptured 3 discs in my back. It's the best decision we have ever made. Mine is on 100 for my back, hubby's is on 35. No problems, he hates a hard mattress and I need one. Ours is over 20 years old and going great. We go every few years and replace the "mattress " pad. It does have a 20 year warranty, or ours did years ago. I will never go back to a regular mattress.

I love clearing out stuff. I did a basic clean. And when I come back I will start clearing out stuff in our basement, that I'm looking forward to because it is a mess. I hope you are enjoying your vacation. Are you back to work on Monday? Hope you have a good weekend planned.

I had my foot xrayed, and the doctor thinks I have a heal spur. However, I also got a referral to a podiatrist, who I am seeing on Tuesday. I want to know one way, or another, exactly what I have. The doctor I saw today mentioned a cortisone shot. I will talk that over with the podiatrist when I see him on Tuesday. I have heard/read both positive, and negative about that treatment.

My trip is 38 days away.
When I ruptured one of my discs I went to get out of bed and collapsed on the floor. I couldn't walk. Hubby took me to the emergency room, and an anestheologist gave me a Cortizone shot in my back. I was up and walking three days later. My Dr. says you can only have 3 of these shots in your life. I protect my back, like it's sacred!
