I want to live at your house. What is a good baking flour that's not gluten? Or do you mix flours?Mine either. I bake 3 or 4 dozen at a time. In fact today's baking 3 loaves of bread, a couple of dozen banana muffins and a couple of dozen blueberry muffins.
Thank You betty rose, I am currently taking a small hiatus from working to regenerate a bit so I thought Disney topics would be a nice way to spend some of my time. Also silly chatting is also always fun.Welcome to our world. Glad that you can join us. Fun and silly thread at times.
We did , but it only lasted 15 minutes. Just enough to get the side walk wet!Sympathy like, I hope you didn't get anything but a nice relaxing rain.
Me too @Cesar R M. You have helped hubby out a lot. By the way, he says thanks too.Regarding your response above to Bets, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your expertise with everyone here.
I would love to go to the office on doggie day, I could be their sitter. Now that's a fun job!I LOVE all the doggies in the office! Ha! That's great! That would never happen where I work, though, but perhaps for the best. Can you imagine Jack in there? The office would be trashed in no time!!

Have the best week ever!Sorry to hear that you're stuck in work. Not to gloat or anything . . . but I'm on vacation all next week!!![]()
Our pines in the mountains have been devoured by the pine beetle. Looks pretty bad right now.![]()
We seriously have no leaves on a lot of trees. If you go down 95 in South County near CT.....it's like driving in the fall/winter when the trees are bare.
I love muffins, I add an extra egg for protein, Makes me feel better about having a muffin for breakfast! For years my husband took muffins with him to work. I would bake batches of 6, from those quick mixes that you buy in the store. He'd eat one, and share the rest with friends at work. Now, he works from home, and I haven't made muffins in a very long time. My pantry used to be full of muffin papers, and various variety boxed muffin mixes/pouches.
You have come to the right place. It gets pretty lively around here at night. I'm usually in bed by then, it's a nice and funny read in the morning. And @MOXOMUMD beautiful pictures sets my day off right!Thank You betty rose, I am currently taking a small hiatus from working to regenerate a bit so I thought Disney topics would be a nice way to spend some of my time. Best kind of vacation, go with the flow! You two seem to think that I have "planned" things??!!Think back to my WDW trip last May--how much planning happened during that trip? (not much!)
The only definite is tomorrow when we go to a Native American pow wow--we always go to a few of these each year and really enjoy these events, and the people we meet there.
I know at least one day is for getting my hair done and getting a pair of glasses fixed. So that leave 4 days and we'll see what happens. Weather may affect our day trip decisions as well.
Millions of trees lost out here due to the Japanese beetle.Oh Boy! Sorry to hear that. It was a little over 5 years ago some of Illinois was dealing with this at the same time an asian beetle was also carving holes through some trees cutting off water flow. We lost the battle to the beetle but our area collectively won the battle against the gypsy moth. They did do two separate overnight aerial drops to kill off the little boogers.
Well, I am use to being up later since that is kind of the nature of my job so I can probably hang until after midnight to 1 in the morning. You have come to the right place. You must set a very fun table! Wish I could go back and get some Disney dinner ware. My kitchen is pretty small these days, and I have no room!I don't ship things back from Disney very often. Like their website shipping is ridiculously expensive, unlike most companies who give a break or free shipping Disney increases charges the more you spend despite the size or weight, bonus very slow shipping. We found this to be the case with online ordering too.
Most of what I shipped over the years was breakables. If Disney ships they quickly replace items that arrive broken unlike if airlines break the stuff. My entire dinner plate etc collection is Disney kitchenware I collected over the years long ago. I'd buy one or two a year, always different (back when everything wasn't generic.) I have an eclectic set of 14 ranging from Pooh to Minnie Mouse and everything inbetween. I also have a thing for salt and pepper shakers gathered over the years. My house is pretty free of Disney themes but they do pop out of cabinets for my fix.
Best kind of vacation, go with the flow!
I love Walt! Thanks for sharing.Life is Good moment.

You will love it here then. Wish I could stay up later, but I wake up every morning at 3AM. That's when I took my doggies outside to do their business at night. After 30 years of that, I naturally wake up, and watch TV for an hour, then go back to sleep. I'm too lazy and cold to get of bed at that time. I need the sun to come up and warm up the house. The mountains get very cool at night, even in the summer.Well, I am use to being up later since that is kind of the nature of my job so I can probably hang until after midnight to 1 in the morning.
