We seriously have no leaves on a lot of trees. If you go down 95 in South County near CT.....it's like driving in the fall/winter when the trees are bare.

I'm an odd one. I'm generally on a dining plan 'cause with corporate discounts it is cheaper. I have a debit card that is cushioned for a trip and also have a gift card loaded for kiosk purchases that we pass between us for water, adult beverages and snacks. I carry ample cash each day. Cash has helped multiple times when systems have been down for any type of swiping/chipping. The only thing I've ever used a credit card for in Disney is purchases that I have shipped home in case it never arrives, easier to dispute.

I've never tied a credit card to a room card or a magic band. My trips have always been paid for before I leave for the World. When I come home I'm usually ahead of the monthly budget cause the week or two was prepaid and no expenses generated back home. The only nice thing about a vacation ending.
This is the same with me. If I have to pay for it when I get home, I really didn't need it.

For years my husband took muffins with him to work. I would bake batches of 6, from those quick mixes that you buy in the store. He'd eat one, and share the rest with friends at work. Now, he works from home, and I haven't made muffins in a very long time. My pantry used to be full of muffin papers, and various variety boxed muffin mixes/pouches.

Oh Boy! Sorry to hear that. It was a little over 5 years ago some of Illinois was dealing with this at the same time an asian beetle was also carving holes through some trees cutting off water flow. We lost the battle to the beetle but our area collectively won the battle against the gypsy moth. They did do two separate overnight aerial drops to kill off the little boogers.

Just think of the time and enjoyment she must get from exploring his wrinkles. There has never been a more ugly man, however, I'm sure he has a very attractive wallet and now that there is a kid coming it is likely to be more permanently available.

Very funny about the wrinkles! But my thoughts exactly on the wallet part of it, and about him being ugly. I think he and Steven Tyler from Aerosmith are tied for ugliest rocker.

We bought a bunch of gift cards this time before we went and used that for a lot of food. I don't mind putting everything on the credit card/magic band when we go because it is tied to a rewards card and I pay it off right way. But opening that bill when it comes (even though I know the total) is always a little shocking but its all been budgeted for. Since it isn't what I normally see. This time too, we didn't get a package because of our AP's and used the AP rate for the room, so isn't of prepaying all that it will be on the bill.

^^^^^^ we do it almost the same way. Everything is either prepaid or preloaded. Even the food money for the condo is put aside in advance. THNX for the tip about items that might have to be shipped. So far we've been lucky and haven't had to ship anything.

I don't ship things back from Disney very often. Like their website shipping is ridiculously expensive, unlike most companies who give a break or free shipping Disney increases charges the more you spend despite the size or weight, bonus very slow shipping. We found this to be the case with online ordering too.

Most of what I shipped over the years was breakables. If Disney ships they quickly replace items that arrive broken unlike if airlines break the stuff. My entire dinner plate etc collection is Disney kitchenware I collected over the years long ago. I'd buy one or two a year, always different (back when everything wasn't generic.) I have an eclectic set of 14 ranging from Pooh to Minnie Mouse and everything inbetween. I also have a thing for salt and pepper shakers gathered over the years. My house is pretty free of Disney themes but they do pop out of cabinets for my fix.

Disney app store has free shipping every now and then
