My truck really has a chance of coming home tomorrow. So excited. @MinnieM123 might not share my excitement though as she doesn't seem to be a fan of driving. Cars/trucks are a real big deal where there is zero public transportation and your town has zip retail or grocery stores. I was fine on my bike until we hit 2 weeks of 90's
Good luck I hope today is the beginning of a long lucky streak for you. :)

@Gabe1 , last Monday night, I barbecued hot dogs. Put slices of whole wheat bread (we don't use hot dog buns) on two plates -- 2 slices for hubs, and 1 slice on my plate, on the kitchen table. (Hot dogs were still finishing up on the grill outdoors.) Went upstairs for a few seconds jut to tell hubs that dinner was ready and when I came down, guess what dog STOLE AND ATE THREE slices of whole wheat bread in less than (no exaggeration) 10 seconds??!! :jawdrop: This is a new one even for Jack--whole wheat bread?! He must have inhaled the 3 slices, and he had the incriminating evidence of crumbs all over his goofy face--plus he dragged about a half of the last piece and ran with it--afraid I'd pull it away from him! That dog is very untrustworthy. :cautious:

Well, what do you do after you get downsized from a job after 19 years? You go to wine country, of course! So here we are, back again.

First stop was Jamesport Vineyards. Good wine, but expensive - $18.00 per tasting (per person)!

Then on to Sherwood House Vineyards. Phil took this of me enjoying a taste of Cabernet Franc.

I don't know what the hell I am smiling about. I'm downsized, remember? Oh yeah, maybe it's that little severance package that might allow a trip back to the world. :)

Anyway, here is a shot of one of the many vineyards out on Long Island East End.

And here is a good philosophy about life ; )

They also have some apple cider mills out there, and we went to one of those next:

And here is the rat b@stard who won't let me go back to WDW, Grrrr.

Errr, anyway, we finished it up at Kontakosta Winery which is all the way out as far as you can go on the East End, in Greenport, on a cliff, and since I couldn't decide on white or rose, I tried both!

Annnyway, there is a slight possibility that we bought a little too much wine, but you be the judge. ;)

And naturally, this drunk has already claimed a bottle for himself.

Happy July 2016 everyone. :)

Happy July to you too! It looks like you had a great time and with all that wine you bought, you'll have a good time at home too!

Sorry...I shouldn't laugh, but it sounds so funny! Did you have more bread?

They're so pretty! I still haven't decided what to do with my nails! Time to get to pinterest
Thanks! This one was my own design. A couple of weeks ago I tested out another one that I didn't like as much. I did white with a pink tip and put two confetti hearts on where I have the Mickeys now. It was cute, but not as cute as this one. I also have a confetti top coat that looks cute...I just can't decide!!

Yep, you'd think I might be a "Wing King", but, I'm not. I like good ones well enough, like at 'Ohana for instance, where they come with the meal, but, I never order them, anywhere.
It has always just seemed like a marketing gimmick to sell the less desirable parts of chicken, IMHO.
There are always sooooo many more appetizing things on the menu at the places we go...! :hungry:

And they are messy, difficult to eat and if you watch someone eating them they look like cave people, lol.

Are the ones at Ohana's boneless or the real deal? I have not eaten at Ohana's in many years and I know the menu offerings were kinda sliced and diced. Is it still worth the $$$???

The last time we went to 'Ohana the wings weren't very good. The sauce on them was fine but the skin on the wings was flabby not crispy. In general our meal at 'Ohana wasn't very good so we haven't been back, and it had been a must do for us. Last week when hubby and I did our monorail lounge tour we stopped in at the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian and ordered the 'Ohana wings off the menu. The wings were a little more crispy but underseasoned, and the sauce is the best part. It didn't make us think that 'Ohana has improved that much. We wished we had ordered more food at Trader Sam's, but we finished at the Tambu and hopped on the monorail to Mizner's Lounge at the GF and had some great stuff there. And Gabe the wings are bone-in, I don't think they have a boneless option.
