Good morning my dh is back at work today so I may get some of my to do list done. YEA! I got a couple of small notebooks this weekend for trip notes and my dh caved and said I can take some food pics for all of you! again YEA!

Every year I'm fascinated by this ridiculous contest at Coney Island -- Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. This was the 100th anniversary, and a new record was set by Joey Chesnut, age 32, who ate 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to claim the title this year.

Oh Wow! I haven't had any Garrett's since Mothers Day. Must do something about that! Never have I not seen that place without a line.

My virus protection is flagging all sorts of stuff the last month It has been the ads on the websites not the websites I visit it appears. Not sure if the ads are packing virus' or if my virus protection has gone super sensitive.

Our neighborhood was really bad this year, too. M80's. I just don't get it. This was the first time in 7 years that they bothered the dog, poor thing. And they kept rattling the whole house.

We set off the pretty fireworks, just some spark, about 3 ft off the ground, that make no noise. I don't see the need for all the noise.

Speaking of feet, I have a Disney World trip coming up in just 53 days, so I bought some insoles for my not so old shoes, and I need to get walking.
