Hahaaa...!
Yep, it's been in the low 40's to mid 30's and rainy here the last few days, and, even on the visit to mom and pops on New Year's Day, I've still been out in only a t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. If there was no rain, it woulda' still been flip flops. ;)
Although, come to think of it o_O, I actually did make a quick beer run in the rain in flip flops, last night. :D
The sun finally came out this mornin', and it's 63 and clear as a bell, right now. Back to full-time flip flops...!!! :joyfull: :)

Yep, you're like my DH minus the flip flops, he is always in gym shoes.

Flip floppies are fun, but it's too bad that you miss out on picking out your mitties, scarf, and knit hat each morning. You should see my collection! :joyfull: I have many different colors, as well as some prints and plaids. I have a few different winter coats and jackets, too, just to make life interesting. "Dressing up" for the cold is my fashion statement! ;)

I have different winter coats based on what I am doing. Light weight if I'm going to be inside or in the car, heavy if Im outside or walking Walt.

Hope you had fun. My DD just left to see the Imitation Game.

We just got home from seeing Into the Woods. It was okay, not really what I expected. I thought it was going to be really light and funny (at least that is what hubby told me) but in some ways it was a little bit of a downer. The acting and singing were good, and the set design & costumes were good too but I kind of wish we had seen Unbroken instead, maybe we will see that one next weekend.

Yep, that definitely helps.
Plus, the battery on my phone lasts, at least, twice as long with a dimmed screen. :)
I never did do a review of the iPhone 6 Plus.
Initially, I was afraid it was too big. Now, I don't know how I ever managed with that puny screen.
The camera is a-mazing!
And, I only have to charge it every third or fourth day.
Win, win, win!

Worth a thousand bucks? Mmmmmm ... maybe.

Yea, personally, I woulda' chosen Unbroken. I have no desire to see any of these new live action Disney fairytale-type movies, or TV shows, whatsoever.

Well, our client and his team can now chill a bit during the off season. His salary increased by $450,000 this season over last. He's a veteran player, and has been talkin' about retiring. Time will tell.

You know what's funny?
There a rumor on ESPN that Steven Gerrard is going to the LA Galaxy. What is it with stars over their prime coming to America? Beckham was at LA. Kaka went to Orlando and now this. @Andrew C

Yeah. He is definitely coming to the MLS. Sad to see him go as he is my all time favorite. But it seems time. Last year was his chance to win a title and it didn't happen.

The MLS is where older players go to finish their careers I guess. I know Stevie doesn't want to play for a club that directly competes with liverpool. I assume LA as you said. Although I would buy season tickets if he came here to Dallas. Not likely though.

We went out for our first restaurant meal of 2015, and what will probably be the last for quite a while.
Gus and Guido's is our favourite mid-range eatery.

Well they loved Imitation Game you can add that one for the weekend after. They said in a heartbeat they'd see it again.

I have a stack of parental appeals for administrative student discipline staring me in the face that were levied at Winter Break. Oy. Infraction, Administrative judgement, students view, parents appeal. I like the boys. They slug it out and done. Girls...not so much.

Maybe I'll read them tomorrow. The appeals meetings are not 'till Monday. :arghh:
