A 7 year old girl from Illinois survived a plane crash, her parents, sister and cousin did not. The girl walked through the woods at night with only one sock and knocked on the first door and told the older gentleman that her parents were killed in a plane crash. She has been released from the hospital and is in route home. :(:):angelic:
God bless her this is so sad. Prayers for her and her family.

Well, our client and his team can now chill a bit during the off season. His salary increased by $450,000 this season over last. He's a veteran player, and has been talkin' about retiring. Time will tell.
You probably can't tell us who he is but I am dying to know! I have an idea...

My DD left for job #2 at 515am this morning. We had about an inch of heavy icy snow. She said the roads were horrid and untreated. Normally most is 45 mph and she said she went about 15 mph because 20 mph seemed to fast for conditions. 8 hours later still not better. SALT people! I went out and shovelled the slop as the snow turned to rain cause it wasn't melting and I knew it was going to get cold. Still slick though. It for the moment has stopped raining but temp is dropping, puddles will turn to skating rinks soon.
sounds scary as hell D:

We went out for our first restaurant meal of 2015, and what will probably be the last for quite a while.
Gus and Guido's is our favourite mid-range eatery.

Bread service:

Guess which salad is mine:

My 18 oz. ribeye:

Hubby's 22 oz. T-bone:

Oh look, I ate all my veggies:

So I get:

(which I shared).

Just curious: did hubby actually finish twenty-two ounces of T-bone??!!! :jawdrop: ;) (To me, steak is so dense, that I only eat a small portion, maybe 6 ounces.) Then again, I suppose the bone counts for some of that weight on his plate as well. Anyway, sounds like he has a big appetite!

Sadly, the pics don't really show how thick/pretty the ice is.

We only had about 2 inches of snow last night, but what a mess outside this morning with the rain. The two inches is saturated with water and the snow is very heavy. It's too dark and early yet to see if the road outside is salted; they plowed a path down the center, but the streetlights are making it look shiny--may or may not be iced up. I might wait to go to church later this morning, instead of my usual 8 a.m. service.

True but having used the internal busses we found you needed to research in which color line to get on and plan accordingly. We only messed up once but enjoyed just riding around the resort.

That's good to know that the system worked for you. :) I think the negative reviews I've read over the years were also were connected to the internal bus system only. Don't recall whether it was during high season or not, when guests complained about the long waits.

It may also be that Disney addressed the issue; and when you stayed there, they might have upgraded the service. Glad to hear that people don't have to rent those little carts or have a car if they stay at FW. That would be a deal-breaker for me, if that was the case.

One reason why WDW works so well for me is because I rely 100% of their transportation; I don't want to rent a car. I've rented years ago when it wasn't quite so manic on the roads down there (I've stayed in the Hotel Plaza cluster of hotels, as well as over in 192 in Kissimmee, and few times up in Orlando). At this point, I'm too scared to even think of navigating myself around in a car down there, with all the heavy traffic and unfamiliar roads, etc.
