I need to look at the pictures. I thought information or a sign about alligator's would be the right thing to do. Barrier's , well I need to see them. They don't make sense, as alligator's can be in a golf course, or between buildings, as my sis and brother in law saw one. I hope they warn about snakes too. I just don't think people will care or read the signs. At most, it lessens Disney's responsibility. Maybe Disney should build a barrier over everything, lol.;)
That is a concern of mine concerning the fencing. I mentioned this on another thread... Does anyone have any idea where the gators will end up if they no longer have access to the water where their primary source of food is? What keeps them off the beaches also blocks their path to the water. So where will they end up? Perhaps outside the door to your resort? Or maybe lumbering up Main Street USA? Standing behind your car in the parking lot? Finding their way to the food carts and exposed restaurants? Again, to calm people they have knee jerked their way into building a fence around the lagoons, with no real thought about what will happen and where nature will go to feed themselves. It looks like a way to keep nature out of the populated areas, but, it equally will keep them in and hungry. Everyone needs to do the math!

I agree. I read a post from someone who lives in Florida, they can appear under cars. Or shady places during the day. I've wondered about the new bar/restaurant at the Poly, out by the pool. Would the smells and people entice them there, if people are feeding them elsewhere on that property? I don't really know what to do. But a fence doesn't make much sense to me. As I said earlier, I watched an animal show that showed them climbing an 8 foot chain link fence. They can pretty much go where they want to.

I'm sorry for writing such a long, somewhat out-of-place post, I just like explaining myself in detail. I'm told I'm a great writer and in real life I find it much easier to express my thoughts and feelings when I write them down as opposed to verbal communication.
@StarWarsGirl gave good advice. If the reader doesn't want to read a long post they'll just skip it. No disrespect to any poster but I do that sometimes.

Now you have something to try this weekend.

I wish she would only bark when she farts, as she rarely does. Barking on the other hand...let's just say that she has a lot to say.;)

Sunday is Fathers Day, so maybe I can get away with the ice cream thing... :cautious: :hungry: ;)

Farting aside ;), Ranger doesn't even really bark. He does this whole Chewbacca thing that we totally love. Belle, on the other hand, can bark gently, or make your head feel like it just exploded...!!!

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

I don't think the fences (wooden post and rope ) are to keep the gators out but more to keep the people in. They may not be the final solution but something had to be done straight away.

They are just simple wood posts with classic rope. Not exactly full "wall" type barriers.

they even picked up military (with honors) funerals. But many groups.. including very burly patriotic bikers and ex military.
Have shielded the funerals from the hate of these morons.

Still, I love poetic justice. Because there is a multicolor pro gay building right infront of Westboro's church as a form of protest.

And pretty sure that God called his judgement, because this clown (Fred Phelps)
suffered his last years by illnesses. In the end... He was pretty much excommunicated from his own church. Ironic.
Oh I know...I've kept up with "Uncle Freddie" (that's what we call him) and his group for decades. I've kept my eyes out in the news and every once in a while a tidbit shows up. I was completely expecting them to picket at the Orlando funerals so it wasn't a shock when it was announced.

Thanks for the levity. I love doggie humor. I'm itching for a doggie right now. Daughter say's she has no time for a doggie. If I should croak. So , I look for any post about the doggie, owner's on here. Thanks for posting funny stories, and pictures about your four legged "kids".
A friend of ours says when he croaks we get his pups. He does Saint Bernard rescues:rolleyes::cautious: er um no way! 100 pounds is our limit:hilarious:
