I'm almost totally done! Last ADR was finally made after the JB/ROL disaster. Just a bit longer before we can make fps and ADRs at UNI. BTW where did you eat there and how was it?
SIL chose Grill and Brew bar and restaurant. It was okay, nothing great, but not bad. I ordered the pulled pork, I like Disney's better. It has more flavor. I guess my tastebuds are getting old! Everyone liked theirs, I tried hubby's. He ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, it was much better than mine. I would go back there again, and get the chicken, that was truly delicious. I'm so glad to hear that you got everything you wanted. I loved everything I had at Disney to eat. To be fair, we didn't stay long at UNI, it was 95 with very high humidity, it started raining and lightning, so we left. It rained all the way back to our resort. It stopped around 8pm. and we went to Epcot for the evening, as it was open until 11p.m. I'm missing day three of pictures, hubby will have to recover them for me. He is working at the office today. No computer helper!

I find that some perfumes (on others) tend to burn my eyes a little, if I get too close to them. I hate heavy perfumes in general. But that also goes for heavy men's colognes or after shave products. I kid you not--this morning, I was walking up the long ramp to the train, and a man passed by me, absolutely reeking of cologne--and I could STILL smell it when he was a good 30 feet ahead of me. I pitied the poor people who sat around this guy on the train. I watched where he walked, and I walked to the opposite end of the train platform!!
I hate the musk that manufacturer's perfumes and cologne's. Smells like BO to me.

So my internship is going really well, so well that my boss took me out to lunch today. He spent about five minutes talking with me about work, and then we talked about the Orioles and Disney for the rest of lunch. :hilarious:

But the good news is that they want to bring me in as an enrollment agent, which is part-time and paid! :D
Congratulations!! Is it something you would enjoy doing?

Lovely pictures! I'm glad you are safely back from your trip. It sounds like it was fabulous! (But you were at Disney, of course it would be fabulous!)
Thanks, hubby and I agree this was the best trip ever. The afternoon nap helped everyone. It gets so hot in the afternoon, and we were refreshed and ready to go at night. We spent most evenings in Epcot, large well lit walkways were great for me. And everyone was at Animal Kingdom. The jungle book show, was rained out two nights in a row. Felt sorry for those who had reservations.

Well ladies, your prayers have been answered! You can now get Star Trek swimwear!

I know, no reason to thank me....
Ha! I was shopping with DD the other day and there was a purple shirt (her favorite color) with "Star Wars" on it in silver glitter and she screamed and then went and turned it around so the print was faced toward the back. She's definitely not a fan. Don't think Star Trek would make her any happier.

Yep, they peaked at 759 stores and now have only 350, but, seem to be making a bit of a comeback. They were founded here in Austin in '71. Still an awesome, quality sandwich...! :hungry:

We still have plenty of Applebee's around here, too. We've never had a bad meal there. My favorite is their Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin...! :hungry:

That looks really good. We quit going to Applebee's when all of us got sick after a meal there. We didn't want to risk it again.

My pop smoked for 12 years, but, quit when he found out mom was expecting me (the first of 4 kiddos), and never smoked again. Mom has never smoked. I used to smoke recreationally, but, can't remember the last time I had a cigarette. DWifey has never smoked, and completely and absolutely detests it. My DWifeys pop smoked about 3 packs a day, and her mom about half that on and off for years. Her pop has been gone for over a decade, and her mom stopped all smoking years ago when she was diagnosed with COPD.
It's actually funny, because although my parents never smoked, all our other friends parents did, so we were quite used to it. I never really gave it a second thought. Now, if I even get a small wiff, I'm like... o_O
I grew up with a smoking dad, he gave it up after his first open heart surgery. After seeing the scar, it would be enough to stop anyone from smoking.

So, Sunday was graduation day, and...I made it! A little misty eyed, but no ugly cry. And after, dinner at Bonefish Grill.

Pictures, of course!

I've been repeating stories over and over since before I turned 50. It's just that we don't remember who we told the stories too. I do it with my daughters. I forget which one I have told, so, now I just tell them to stop me if I am repeating. Nothing new, though, I've been doing it for years. Chances are I have done the same thing on the boards. Chances are I have done the same thing on the boards. (That last sentence was just for dramatic affect)
I'm right there with you. I know I have double posted. Just the age thing, I guess. Oh well, no matter how many times we say the same thing, we must like hearing our stories over and over and over (more dramatic affect)!;)

Amen Sister Friend! Both my DD and my niece over the last 2 years have this with Apples. My niece has been transported from her University to the ER a half dozen times her freshman year. She too would ground a flight. My DD on the other hand needs to actually eat them to go to the ER. Allergies have gotten very bizarre over the last decade. Both of them are purely respiratory. They freak'n can't bring air into their lungs.
I'm sorry to hear this. Life with allergies can get difficult. I'm mostly allergic to trees, grass, molds, and a few other things, like lamb. I don't eat lamb, so it's no problem to me. The dairy thing is another issue, I love ice cream. But, there are some pretty good ones at the super market. I like chocolate mocha almond fudge. I can't find it anymore in our stores, so I'm bummed out for the summer.

Probably wouldn't have stopped my mother. When she came out of the hospital after her surgery and first chemo treatment, she had been in the hospital for a few days and of course hadn't been allowed to smoke. She said she didn't even FEEL like smoking...so she lit one up to prove to herself she didn't really need it. And she was back to a pack a day.

Yup, I'll bet that she and Mr. Bets, and the rest of the gang, are having a blast. I also suspect that she might be having some sort of issue logging in or uploading pictures, as she always enjoys doing that. But good things come to those who wait--we'll all get to see some great trip photos and stories once she gets back home on her own computer.
Thanks, I was too exhausted from all the hours in the park. After a shower I hit the bed and went right to sleep. Never can get use to the 3 A.M. (our time) to get up.
