We have them around here and they are excellent. They are usually either in the self serve part of the deli or with prepackaged prepared meats. Ours are very good and run about $10-$14 a full slab. Vacuumed sealed.

Very tender. Around here they are better than some places that serve ribs.
I also can buy hot slabs of ribs at the special grocer Mariano's in their Tod's smoked section near my Moms.

They have whole chickens, brisket, meatloaf and ribs.

I have never seen that at my local Marianos. I will have to look. DH and DD both love ribs.

Yep, they peaked at 759 stores and now have only 350, but, seem to be making a bit of a comeback. They were founded here in Austin in '71. Still an awesome, quality sandwich...!

We still have plenty of Applebee's around here, too. We've never had a bad meal there. My favorite is their Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin...!

Our local Applebees had a great outdoor area that I do miss this time of year. There is a square that often has live music right there, so it would be a nice evening. Now it is turning into a pancake restaurant that will only be open for breakfast and lunch.

We use to eat at Applebee's pretty frequently for a while and all of a sudden you could almost see the same staff have an attitude, it wasn't like that before. Then one meal my baked potato came with this teeny tiny dish of sour cream. I asked if I could have a couple more cause what that was was only good for a forkful. They complied. The bill came and I was charged for 2 additional sour creams sides @ $1 each.
I felt badly for the server but the manager was a jerk about it and we were known loyal patrons. That was our last Applebee's experience, they got the $2 and never a penny more.

Our Applebees went through a rough patch, too, and we didn't go back for awhile. Went after DS's 8th grade graduation, and it was great, especially eating on the patio. I think it was like 6 months later and poof! It has been sitting empty for awhile, now. 4 years to be exact.

Good morning everyone. More pictures after this story about Disney and it's guests. When you think you have seen everything at Disney....someone does something that "takes" the cake. First story....hubby went to the bathroom, a grandpa came in with his grandson, he proceeds to the adult urinals and the kid goes to the small ones for kids. The grandfather looks over and says, oh my God. His grandson is licking the flusher at the urinal. That story tickled my funny bone. Next story is........so we are one Pirates ride, the little boy is in front of us, is saying pee, pee daddy. Dad asks wife if he can hold the boy out of the boat to do his business. She says, no you can't do that...so....he takes the kids pants down and he goes in the boat! The floor was completely wet. More crazy stuff you don't plan to see at Disney. Now, day two's pictures..

So, Sunday was graduation day, and...I made it! A little misty eyed, but no ugly cry. And after, dinner at Bonefish Grill.

Bang bang shrimp and edamame to start.

They couldn't get DD's steak right after 2 tries so free dessert. I had the Key Lime Pie. Sorry, no pictures of that.

The burgers looked great, but I am having a hard time getting past the kid peeing on the boat. Disgusting.

Nothing at Disney surprises me anymore. I blame the dad. The burgers were wonderful, and so were the fries, hot and crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I've been craving them since I came home. We went to the restaurant around 4pm. Florida time. Few people there at that time.

If anyone is interested, the Darth Vader cupcake was by far the best. The Olaf while very cute, had little flavor , just mainly sweet.

Sympathy like. My neighbor has a dog who barks like crazy every thunder storm. They've tried those and several other things and nothing has worked. I guess dogs are like people some people are bothered by storms and some aren't

I'm almost totally done! Last ADR was finally made after the JB/ROL disaster. Just a bit longer before we can make fps and ADRs at UNI. BTW where did you eat there and how was it?
