Last ADR, yay! I made some modifications to our plan last night, we finally decided not to do a dining package for jungle book but just stick with fast pass.

Last time I was in the Universal area I went to City Walk and we ate at Margaritaville. I am a big jimmy Buffett fan, but the food there is good. Nif your boys like wings the Waimea wings are fantastic and the volcano nachos are yummy and it is a huge serving!
THNX My dh and boys will all eat wings, it's food isn't it?:happy:

I actually found a pic of a mallard in a tree... :cyclops: ;) :)

you know,. speaking of ducks..

Mallards are very rare in my area.
Yet yesterday we seen 2 mallards and a pair of yellow beaked ducks that had similar colors of the mallard but way bigger and slender.
They were goofing on top of the small patio roof of a neighbor's house.

I tried to get my camera but the neighbor shooed them away :(

but at least I got these..

Two things....so the boy on pirates peed in your boat?! How did you not lose it? I definitely would have said something if I was in the boat with them. I would rather the kid peed into the water.

And second...what type of burgers did you have at deluxe burger? Is one of them chicken? How was it?
Both were hamburger's they were the best I have had in a long time. They tasted like the beef I remember as a kid. Speaking of kids, the boy was about 2 years old. I didn't want to scare the little boy, so I said nothing to the father. I love kids and when a parent tells them to do something inappropriate I won't make a scene. I did tell the C.M. and they said the ride will be closed to clean up, I don't know if it was caught in time to do something about the family. I didn't approve but, after it was already done, we chalked it up to the newest experience at Disney, along with the snake. All in all it was a very fun trip. We have learned over time to go with the flow (no pun intended), while on vacation, it makes things more fun that way. We are still laughing over the snake, it was so funny watching all of us running backward, as fast as we could. These are the things we will talk about for years, like the kid peeing in a bush just outside of Cosmic Rays. I'm getting too old to get upset about much anymore. Besides when you think about it, life experiences can be really funny! The snake, at the time scared me to death, but looking back, no one was hurt, and me yelling snake, caused everyone to back up so fast. Just funny to me now.

I'm picking that for our next trip. I love Margarita's and want to eat there. Daughter has been to the one in Las Vegas, they have this large margarita glass that girls in bathing suits slides down into the "drink". Only in Las Vegas. She said the food was very good. The construction and traffic kept us away from UNI, we almost had an accident, a girl started to pull in our lane, with no clearance, hubby yelled car to SIN he served right (good reaction, on his part). We avoided the wreck, but no one was anxious to go back on I-4 until the construction is finished. SIN thanked hubby, as she was pulling into his blind spot.

Both of my parents smoked, although my dad hid it and still hides it today. My sister smokes, she gave it up while she was pregnant but took it up again as soon as she left the hospital. I wasn't ever tempted to start, I wanted to waste my money in other ways (Disney stuff).
Me too, although I try not to waste much money, I was brought up in a very frugal family, and I adopted those habits. It has served us well, as hubby was able to retire early, when the pressure became too much, at 63. We still live frugally and hubby works part time. We use that income for vacations. We figure we have about 6 more years before we quit flying. It may come earlier, as we are having more pain flying, the new airplane seats are so small I can't move my legs. And if the person in front of you reclines their seat you can't move at all. It's really miserable. The space under the seats have gotten so much smaller, a purse hardly fits. I'm thinking the standing positions can't be far behind. We will be out then. It's really crazy. We flew United, and it's the worst flight I have ever experienced. Nothing to do , no entertainment , nothing, as everything was broken. Most miserable flight I have ever had. Not looking forward to next June. We do fly economy, as does the kids, we can no longer afford to fly everyone at business plus. I've done that , and it's not much better if someone reclines their seat. Flying is just hell to me anymore. I can put up with a lot. But my legs going to sleep and my back hurting during the whole flight is not fun. Oh, I forgot to mention the seat cushions, only go to the middle of the upper leg, no support. And you can't move at all. My tray couldn't hold my small computer. It barley held a coke and a snack. Just a heads up to anyone flying United. I don't know about other airlines, but this was the worst. Rant, and info over!

When I was a kid, my father smoked a few packs a day. Then, at the age of 42, he stopped--cold turkey! :jawdrop: Now, he wasn't all that pleasant to be around for the first month or so after he quit, but once he adjusted to the radical change, his personality improved, and he never smoked after that.

then that makes no sense.. why call them thunder blankets if they are actually vests or doggy clothes?

:) You're taking the word (blanket) too literally in this example. It's merely an advertising technique, with a bit of a play on words. The item wraps the dogs like they're in a snug, safe blanket, but attached with velco to custom fit them. So it may look a little more like a vest or doggie shirt in the photos.

You're all gonna think I'm nutty (then again, no big surprise there . . . ;) ) but I think I've seen that movie probably about 9 times since it came out. And it's always been panned by the movie critics; but I think the movie, somehow, has its own crazy sort of cult following (guilty as charged!!). :D :joyfull:
Me too! It reminds me of my days in Indiana with the May tornadoes. Daughter, dog and I pulled clothes on top of us, when we went into a ground floor closet , after seeing a tornado coming toward us. It served south and we were okay. But it was too scary, dd was 4. The dog was freddy . We all hovered together. When it was over, we were so glad. We lived at Kokomo, Indiana at the time. Several people lost their lives, in several states....one of the biggest outbreaks of tornadoes, at the time. I survived a tornado years before at my mom and dad's home. I still love weather of all kinds, and love thunderstorms. Go figure, I do take cover when a tornado threatens. Basement or bathroom. I saw the house behind us, fall into the basement , due to a tornado. So I prefer my interior bathroom. I go there, unless hubby is home, we go to the basement under the stairway.

Good for him. Cigarette's are so harmful, why aren't they on a controlled substance list? Just MHO. I used to defend smoking area's, but I have asthma, and it's very horrible to be around smoke.

Oh, I'd probably freak out if I saw a real tornado!! Never saw one before--only in movies or on the TV news. The movie, Twister, was interesting, but a real situation with frightening tornadoes is something I hope I never experience.
