Thank you all. :inlove:

Well he failed the test this morning. The specialist brought in by the cardio doc stated that he had to pass test before they could try and shock his heart back into rhythm. So they didn't do it and the meds they were pumping into his arm to keep the heart in rhythm are not working. The test showed multiple small blood clots and one big one in his heart and that is with him being on blood thinners for years already. So we are all kinda processing while not really wanting to process. Meanwhile he is being as difficult as can be in the hospital.
Difficult is the nice word the staff is tagging him with. Joy Joy :banghead:

Sympathy like.
Sooo far behind.
How is your pop...?

Don't get me wrong... I don't hate them I just do not want to use one. It reminds me of cattle with those numbered tags stapled to their ears. Just one of the herd. I know that sounds like an insult, but, I didn't mean it too, it is just how I internally feel about it. Besides as I said, 'I don't carry things around', the door problem would never be there. :)

I do tan quickly, but, tan lines would never be an issue for me. I was out in the sun yesterday for less then an hour at the driving range and you would swear that I changed race while out there. My sister hates me for that particular talent. ;)

Ha! I'm jealous. My Irish skin needs some color. And I get the cattle analogy. I feel the same way plus the data mining. Sometimes I do long for the more simpler Disney my kids were raised with and me with Disneyland. I don't carry stuff around but I do fess up to taking our mugs down to the food court and filling them with coffee and tea each morning so yes, my bright side of life-my MB allows me feed my love of coffee to room easier. :joyfull:

I can't think of a thing on this planet that I care less about then the data mining. It's only mining it in the parks, and I'm there already. There is nothing that it tells them that will have any immediate impact on me. What can it do? It doesn't contain any mind control, it is really more of a tool to know where, in the park, the crowds are and what to plan for later based on that information. What you buy, unless you use just cash, is recorded anyway. Contrary to popular belief, they don't really care that you use the bathroom, but, if they find a location that has more demand then others, that might be very positive information. Everyone that has spoken about it, to date, has failed to tell me what evil thing that results from their keeping track of stuff anymore then the old cameras used to do. So, a non-issue for me.

As far as the coffee... if you drink that nasty stuff then you probably deserve the extra effort it takes to get in the door. ;):joyfull:

I wasn't onboard for MB the first trip with them but the MB didn't bug me and it was loose enough that it moved around so I didn't get a tan line. I never really tan too much at the parks to start with. I'm still not overly comfortable with the whole data thing wrapped around my arm but I just try to look past it begrudgingly.

As for card vs band the band kinda just eked out the card. The big plus was a silly one. When I'd get back to my room and had 2 mugs of stuff I could actually open the door without having to put my stuff down, fish out the card, open door pick it back up with the MB and ADA door handles. It even worked through my fleece jacket. A tiny little perk.

As for the motion thing of card vs MB I look at it as simply as a wristwatch or a pocket watch with tan lines and ease. A pocket watch is also a simple motion, isn't sweaty or strange tan lines but the majority of people I've seen over the years seem to opt for the wrist vs pocket.
It depends on the hotel. Some hotel rooms have the sensor too close to the ledge and you have to skew your hand in a weird angle to get it to read your MB correctly.
I had to remove my magicband a few times at Old Key West to get it read the Mb.

Oh and I just discovered that I can only go on April 29, since I have the lowest pass and all other Fridays are blocked out. Plus I would need to go early so I'll make it back in time to pick up DD from school. So chances of me going are slim right now. :(
You can pull your DD out in honor of the fact that the 29th is my birthday and I want pictures. :D

I hope the change works fine for you.
I had ordered colored ones, but when we arrived to the resort. They said they had no knowledge of the color change in the system. So they actually had greys ready in the original boxes.
But the gentleman happily changed the grey ones for multicolored ones.
Weird...I wonder why it didn't work for you! I hope ours work!!

did they say what was wrong in the end?
Oh it was exactly what our repairman said it was...the drum broke off the axle. The called today to make an appointment for Tuesday to repair it. It's just that it's a really expensive repair. If it wasn't such a new machine, we wouldn't have any warranty left on it and then you might as well buy a new machine because it costs more for the parts and labor than for a new machine. But Whirlpool has to decide if they want to just repair it, or give us a new machine...they are choosing to repair it and we just have to pay 175 Euros instead of the full repair bill.

Yes, you can bring your own wheelchair, or scooter or any other safety approved appliance. You do not have to rent it from them at all. You can rent an ecv from a number of reputable places offsite as well. Much cheaper and they will deliver it to your room onsite or offsite.

Here is a link to the Disney requirements for ECV's rented off-site. It's from 2012 and probably still is up to date. There might even be a section here on WDWmagic, but, I didn't have time to look for it. http://allears.net/pl/ecv_faq.htm

Two things... I believe, I could be wrong, that the 5 choices are just about the ones that Disney allows to come on-site to deliver. Also in that information it states that you need to transport it onsite yourself. That pertains to if you are staying offsite. The one that I rented for a friend of mine came in three easy to assemble parts that easily fit in the trunk of my car. It took about 3 minutes to assemble.
Thank you!! I'm really hoping I won't need it. Right now, I'm resting it as prescribed. But even today, it felt a little better.
