I only watched an hour of it. The best parts were the trailer of Pete's Dragon (and I never saw the carton version), Elton John, Frozen girl who I can't spell her name with looking it up and the singer who dueted (is that a word) with Kermit had an amazing voice. The DickVanDyke and the whole dancing parts of great too because I might have stayed up a few minutes extra.
Do yourself a favor, and watch the real Pete's Dragon. They didn't need to make Pete a kid who grew up in the woods, raised by a dragon.

I was really tired last night, and fell asleep after about 25 mins. :( Really wish I saw the whole show, but from what I did see, I could tell they were relying more on the entertainers to jazz up the show, rather than the history, and attractions. Can't say I'm surprised about that, but that was my reaction from the first 25 mins. Still, I wish I could have seen the entire show, as I'm sure I must have missed some good parts, regardless.

The opening, fast-paced, razzle dazzle dance number was well done for what it was, but I'm not sure if I could really relate any of that to the Disney experience overall. Guess I'm a traditionalist, and would have preferred something more along the lines of an opening trolley number with female CMs wearing those pretty, old-fashioned, big skirt dresses, and pretty hats, and the old-style suits and top hats for the men.
I really enjoyed it. I agree that there could have been more of the history and showing DL, but I did enjoy the music. I think the best ones were Idina Menzel performing Let It Go with World of Color in the background, the Step in Time routine, the Star Wars full orchestral bit, the Fantasia tribute, and Elton John. Josh Gad going around Disneyland was very amusing and cool to see. They also showed Shanghai Disneyland plans (and seriously, I want their Tomorrowland). I wish they had shown more of Star Wars Land, dubbed Star Wars Experience, although it was pretty funny to watch Harrison Ford with his obviously-scripted appearance looking like he didn't believe a word he was saying.

Ant-megedon update: Got rid of the ones marching through the Dining Room. Thought I had tackled the ones in the kitchen, but they seem to like my dishwasher.:banghead: Put a little Terro on an index card, and they are really enjoying it. Every time I pass, I say things like "Share it with your friends. Sharing is caring". My kids think it is hysterical, and it makes me feel better.

I thought Harrison Ford looked like a robot speaking. It didn't look sincere to me either. I like Elton John, and the Frozen number too, along with the orchestra. World of Color looks really good to me.

For those interested, I'll be tryin' to finish up my mini TR with Princess 5K tutu day tonight. Unfortunately, there's not enough time to properly devote to it during lunch hour. :)
ETA: Plus, there is a little from our last day at DSprings before we had to catch DME to MCO, as well...! :)

Now, time for a little ketchup... ;)
