I'm wondering if it was a victim of Photoshop? Look close at the words in the middle of the last two sentences. What does everyone else think? I'm pretty sure @MOXOMUMD didn't photoshop it, so please don't read that meaning into my reply.

Ha! Ya I had said the same thing. There have been a few things sold at both Flower and Garden along with Food and Wine that made me do a double take over the last few years though. I cannot imagine Disney allowing that. In that era we still had twin beds on sitcoms for married people. Betting even today there is stuff in Disney licensing agreements that would still prohibit it.

I grew up with plastic on our living room furniture. But then again we were not allowed in the living room. Nobody was. A concept I still do not grasp. It was for company and holidays. Both rare in the 365 days a year. I love that Raymond episode. Flashback for me.

My kids always got pulled out of school for Disney for a couple weeks each year. But I did pull them for fun things every now and then when weekends just wouldn't do. I remember when my DD got out of kindergarten one fall, it was a beautiful afternoon, we had tried to go apple picking but the weather wasn't cooperating. We went to my DS school and pulled him at lunch, a family thing ya know, and the three of us went apple picking. My DS still remembers the day I yanked him out of school to pick apple from a real tree.

Sounds like a fun experience for your kids to go apple picking, and again related to science so it is educational too. This teacher actually doesn't mind when kids get pulled out of school for experiences that can enrich them. Not everything is learned at school.

Or should I say CAUGHT-UP? I was about 25 pages behind and missing out on all the conversation! I've been doing a lot of traveling for work which unfortunately involved much windshield time - about 700 miles in these past 3 days. Glad to be home. Now I just have to figure out what is going on with this big storm that is supposed to come in on Tuesday. 13 to 24 inches of snow, Really? Maybe the Amish can loan us their rigs so we can put all the horses to work, cleaning off the driveway? o_O

I'm watching the storm too. Lots of hype on news and weather reports.

I just laugh when I read these. We never had a den and watched TV as a family on the one TV in the living room. Video games and the Internet didn't exist yet, and neither did cd's. The only Pokey we had hung around with gumby, but we did have the covers on the living room furniture! :hilarious:

Wow! I had forgotten about Gumby and Poky and remember their cartoon. I can remember Gumby and Poky in the toy box.

I would bet it was the turkey leg....:depressed: Tower or Terror is one of my favorites! :)
Yeah, I'm thinking that you could get sick just walking through the park after eating one of those! :hungover:

Just the smell of a Turkey Leg in the parks on a hot day, bluck.

There are certain rides at Disney and Universal I make sure I hit prior to eating a meal though.

We are expecting 24 inches, or 12. It seems they don't know the exact path and can't predict.

i can never stomach the tower, been on it once, was physically sick :(

saying that i did eat turkey leg before hand

I've been on ToT, RnRC, EE, and M:S orange with a full stomach and never had a problem. But, I also tend not to suffer from motion sickness of any kind, and, pretty much, have a cast iron stomach. :)
It's a great ride! If I were you, I'd give it another shot, sans pre-ride turkey leg, of course...! ;)
