I'm not sure how it's affected by weather....never thought of that, but it hasn't gotten real cold here yet. We were still in the 50s or 60s this past week while you all were getting dumped on. But my hip is still hurting a bit. It's much better than it was 2 weeks ago though!
At least it's getting better. We had icy carp yesterday and it's now in the 50s and everything will be gone in a few hours.

How did you do that??? Please be careful!! (I shouldn't talk....I almost ripped a fingernail off last night trying to fix the slats under our bed when the box spring slipped out of my hands and tried to take the fingernail with it)
OUCH! One of the boys broke a glass and didn't make sure to clean it up. They stayed up last night watching a movie, must have happened then. I tripped over my dog who was trying to play while I was putting things away

Cause we are kinda the same kinda families. We drive them till they really don't drive anymore. We've always looked at cars as one of the poorest things to invest money in because it immediately depreciates dramatically and continues to do so. Me, I always thought the longer they lasted for the dollars expended the better value they were. Both my Mustang and my Truck lasted forever and I mourned their passing.
When my Mustang passed my Sis sent me Flowers.
We do the same. I hate having to buy a new car. It's like paying for a house or close to it.;)

Good morning it's above freezing and the roads are clear. @Songbird76 is right today I'm getting the house in order. More like getting some breakables away and a bit of cleaning. I also have a bit of prep and cooking. I can't believe after yesterday's mess tomorrow will be warm enough to BBQ and grill.
I'm so jealous. Grilling won't happen out here for many month's.

And this is why we fly. And the one road trip to Cleveland with a then toddler made me make a promise to myself never again.
I love a road trip. My only item in my decision making is the time factor. If I have the time, it will be on the road. It's easier to me, I can carry more things with me and it's all right there with no chance of it sitting in a warehouse in some strange city. Then when I get there I have my own transportation without having to rent and return a vehicle. (I hate that)

I'm just one movie away from finishing off the Disney animated canon. It's rather bittersweet. Sweet because I feel it's a huge accomplishment to have watched all 54 movies, yet bitter because I won't be able to experience any of the movies for the first time again and I'm not looking forward to the one movie I have left (Dinosaur).
why not? its not that bad.
It has classic Pixar "Feels" moments (aka you cry like a baby)
