7 of us went down in 2 cars.
SIL, both DDs, DS, and myself drove back to Austin tonight. SIL has to work tomorrow, DS and myself came back to take care of our dogs, and both DDs are on their way up to Dallas at 6a tomorrow morning for another fitness group meetup.
Weather on the way there and back wasn't too bad. A little intermittent rain both ways.
DDs are keeping a close eye on the weather, as there was some bad stuff up Dallas way today.
And, they're also predicting as much as 18 inches of snow for portions of New Mexico and the Texas panhandle... :confused:
Anyway, DWifey and her aunt will be heading back home to Austin tomorrow. :)

Round trip in a day. Wooba. :facepalm: The weather here has been OK. I noticed I have to go pick out a wreath though from a bush that blew away, don't know how. Rain all day. DD and I drove to a expanded again outlet and stopped at a Cracker Barrel for dinner on the pilgrimage back home. Walt climbed in bed with me, I think he thought we were leaving him for a road trip so he is keeping an eye on me.

Yea, to Houston and back is a bit of a haul, but, we had a great time. I definitely cannot blame BIL for picking up an extra $1500 a mo. in income and not having to travel anymore for the move.

Walt likely smells Cracker Barrel on you...! ;)

Seriously though, glad y'all had a great day...! :)

Should have had this conversation yesterday. We were in Aurora today.

Sunday should be OK, until nightfall anyhow.

Yep. And as long as the VHS players still work I see no reason to pay for the same Christmas movie again in DVD. I still have all my vacation planners too for Disney. Some of the earlier ones were really great, a lot more attractions in those planners. Fun to watch. I have a MK VHS from the late 80's or early 90's that was likely purchased. It is like a tour through the attractions. Great when I'm missing my Happy Place. I also have 2 albums from the MK of park music that I cherish. I still have a very expensive turntable hooked up to Bose whole house speakers when I need my World fix.

And the damage to our bod's at @donaldtoo and my age after landing on our butts all day, well...not so pretty. We are at the edge of almost being eligible for grandchildren.....insert fainting smiley face here.
