Good morning all. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had such a fun time. The kids got some new games and we played them. I sure was tired after the day. Those games were fun and challenging, calling for some fast moves , and I had to balance a dice on my nose. Everyone enjoyed the eats and treats. I do need to do some catch up. :joyfull:

I miss all that stuff. No one in my house likes sandies but me, so I haven't made them most years, and chex don't exist here and there's nothing remotely like it.

I'm sorry you don't have chex, I would miss smelling it cooking at the holidays.

We had a simple breakfast of Monkey Bread, maple breakfast sausage and pounds of bacon. :hungry: We then open presents and all did quite well. :) We woof'd down a veggie platter for lunch and I had pre-ordered a feast from Maggiano's Italian restaurant for dinner, but did also order up their Spinach Salad for some more green. ;) Oink. 3 cheesecakes for dessert and cream puff balls. :hungry: We had dinner out on Wednesday with my Mom and my Sis with her family and a full ham and all the fixings dinner at my Mom's last night. I could have just ate the whole bowl of potato salad if I thought I would have been able to sleep after doing that. :rolleyes:

It was 3 days of yummy food, presents and family and now I'm just in wind down chill mode. And hope Walt will survive all the stuff he ate over the last 3 days that isn't part of his routine. :cyclops:

Sounds like a fun time! Did anyone get a picture of you balancing dice on your one? That would be a Hoot to see.

Thanks, I am feeling better but I have a cough hanging on. I am at the in-laws now and they have shedding dogs so I don't know what is my cold and what is allergies to the dog dander and fur. There is a lot of fur around and it is creeping me out. I miss my non-shedding schnauzer.

Sister liked her schnauzer for that exact same reason. Sometimes cough's hang on for weeks after a cold. I'm so glad that you are feeling better. It's not fun to be sick during the holidays.

7 of us went down in 2 cars.
SIL, both DDs, DS, and myself drove back to Austin tonight. SIL has to work tomorrow, DS and myself came back to take care of our dogs, and both DDs are on their way up to Dallas at 6a tomorrow morning for another fitness group meetup.
Weather on the way there and back wasn't too bad. A little intermittent rain both ways.
DDs are keeping a close eye on the weather, as there was some bad stuff up Dallas way today.
And, they're also predicting as much as 18 inches of snow for portions of New Mexico and the Texas panhandle... :confused:
Anyway, DWifey and her aunt will be heading back home to Austin tomorrow. :)
