Merry Christmas! I still have no singing voice so church was hard for me last year. It goes against my nature to not be able to sing in the Christmas services. But we had a lovely evening with the whole family and now we had a late brunch this morning, I've made brownies and stuffed mushrooms for our Christmas dinner tonight and the kids opened their presents and they are building a fire in the outdoor fireplace thingy....don't even know what it's called in English. Hope you are all snuggled warm in your homes with your families and having a great time.
Thank you for the warm wishes. I 'm so sorry you couldn't sing for Christmas that sounds so unfair. I hope you're all better to ring in the New Year at full voice. xoxo

The "parade" was ok and I think that tori kelly sounded ok too. The parade just isn't as good as it used to be, I liked when they actually showed parts of the parks. I was also surprised that hardly any time was spent on Disneyland, considering it is still in its 60th.
I thought the same thing. There was a serious lack of DLC. Maybe because they were doing a push of the cruise line.

What is the beer? I have a friend that is a liquor distributor. Maybe he'll know where in your area if any. The closest we could find the wine I love from Epcot-Germany was South-West Wisconsin, so every year when my DH DS went to Plattville they'd bring a case back. Quarter of the price too.

@figmentfan423, this is the beer I had at BOG back in the summer of '13. Is there a chance this is the beer your hubby is looking for...Hoegaarden Wit-Blanche...?

Disney Food Blog:
Where can I get the chocolate Cinderella Slipper Dessert?
The Cinderella Slipper Dessert is available at the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary Resort, and Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom. It is usually white chocolate, but Cinderella’s Royal Table occasionally offers it in milk chocolate.

Ordering a Chocolate Cinderella Slipper Dessert
The Chocolate Slipper Dessert is created exclusively by the Grand Floridian Bakery and Contemporary Bakery in either white or dark chocolate. Cinderella’s Royal Table orders are now given a choice of white or dark chocolate. If you are not given a choice, ask for an order form. When ordering via phone, a choice of chocolate is not always available. The white chocolate version seems to be the most common presentation of this royal dessert at Grand Floridian restaurants. Current pricing is $12.50 plus tax plus mandatory 18% tip.

Served at our Vow Renewal

When ordering, request a message inscribed in chocolate to be written on the plate. Popular messages include “Happy Anniversary”, “Happy Birthday”, “Congratulations” and even “Will You Marry Me?”! Special orders for slippers must be placed at least 48 hours in advance via Disney’s Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253. Note that the Disney Dining Plan does not apply to this dessert. When dining at a Contemporary Restaurant, call private dining at the Contemporary: 407-824-2955.
Thanks! So you have to order it in advance.

I'd think that has to be hard not being able to get certain things for the holidays especially. When my Sis lived in Germany I use to ship her care packages. When my Dad was working years ago on creating a new Krakus Ham plant in Poland we tried to ship him stuff but it was hard. 'Customs' opened everything and without fail half the stuff was always 'missing' by the time it got to him. Do you have family that could send you the more obscure things on this side of the pond?
My brother sent me some stuff last year, like jello mix and triscuits. I also stock up when I get to the states. We've never had a problem with stuff going missing, but we HAVE had packages that just never got here.

You can do a good stock up at Walmart, the one on 27 never seems too crazy busy and is pretty big. That's the one we go to on our Florida trips.
