When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
My annual Costco Christmas shopping trip with my SIL (not Tammy) and cousin (who actually is named Tammy) is in the books.
And for a change, we switched up our usual dinner location.

It was a nice evening, and I got a lot of shopping done.
Time to think about wrapping, now that that the house is fully decorated, inside and out.

Later she came up behind me and laid down on the chair. I had about four inches of chair and she had the rest.

Last night Walter went to sleep with my DD as he usually does for about 30 minutes but last night he stayed and he is one big boy that sprawls out. Well he sprawled out his legs and while stretching pushed my DDs torso completely off the bed, her legs caught up in tucked in sheets and holding onto the headboard frame with one hand, Walt didn't even wake she said. He got himself evicted.

Yeah, but pretty much as long as you don't get it in your nose and ears, you're okay. It's a parasite, so it's not extremely contagious, and you just don't want it to reach your brain because it literally eats your brain. It sounds like something out of Star Trek or some other science fiction, but it's true.

You can swim in the water if you wear ear and nose plug. I don't recommend it, but you can.

The little bit of spray that comes off the water in the boat...I wouldn't worry about that. It breeds near the ground, so you're not likely to find it near the surface where the spray is coming from.

I'm still here and did the water slides year after year at River Country! Ruined my suit too. Their water patrol goes in the water after guests here and there too. Still not planning on getting in the lake though.

Thank you for the info! I had heard about the Florida water and I had wondered about the questions I had posted. See this thread is great for many things.

So my transfer was not approved because the manager overseeing the department I want to transfer to also oversees the department I wanted to transfer from. (Well she helps the manager in the department I wanted to transfer from).
The reason I was given is that they need to make sure both RT departments are well staffed and that they want to work with me. I'm not sure how it is going to be, but the January schedule will be out soon so let's see if I get the shaft. Heck, I have been at this hospital for seven and a half years and I am the RT with the most seniority but because I am PRN, I might just have to work any available shifts that these newly hired RTs don't want.
I don't know...

You're amazing. December has just started and already you've got all this decorating done and a pile of shopping, too. I don't get a tree until this Sunday, and I've only bought 2 presents so far (one for my sister's birthday, which is 3 days before Christmas, and a present for her for Christmas). I need to get into Jennifer-mode and get my act together soon!!

Hahahahaha . . . :hilarious: :joyfull: Walter's no chump. He needed to stretch out for maximum comfort, and he couldn't do that with her in the way. Makes perfect sense.

I wish you got the transfer, and this must be disappointing to you. I can only hope that some sort of compromise can be worked out for the better shifts that you want. Seems to me that they need to seriously consider your years of dedicated service and seniority. Good employees are gems.

That's what I thought. The manager keeps saying she wants to take of me as a loyal employee, however, at the same time, the shift I have been covering there for 7 years has to be put up for everyone to see if they want it. Time will tell what happens.

Canadian lobsters discovered in England. Experts blame cruise ship diners trying to 'save' critters by throwing them overboard. Twits forgot to cut the bands on their claws. @FutureCEO you want to live there why?
