@figmentfan423 , did I read correctly--is it one more week before your boys go back to school? What will you do when they're out of the house for a good chunk of the day? Regain your sanity? ;) :p
I have quite the list, regain sanity, enjoy lower food bills, enjoy less cooking, organize house, start getting out winter stuff and putting away summer items. Start organizing holiday lists and just when the holidays end it will be ADR time. I like that we're not going in June for a change as doing ADRs right in the middle of holiday season was a giant pain in the bum!

I watch him with his weapons, real sharp swords, nun chucks, and the like and I'm scared just watching. I love Tea Kwon Do, they are teaching him the respect for his power, and how to choose another path. Last year (because he is so short), he was being bullied....he got in the kids face, who was a couple years older than him, (on the play ground) and told him to never do that again. The bullying stopped, I'm so glad that he has learned confidence and respect.
I loathe bullying. My son gets bullied, too, but a lot of it is verbal rather than physical. I don't know what to do to help him with the bullying as I don't want him answering taunts with his fists. I've thought about some sort of martial arts, but I'm afraid that won't keep the kids from calling him names.

It probably won't, but Grandson knows he has the ability to defend himself. He's been taught to use only if in an emergency situation. He can break a board with his hand. Or a nose with his foot. But he knows he can defend himself, so it gave him the confidence to stand up to the bullying. I hope this response helps. Sorry I was so slow in responding, I'm having computer trouble again. I got knocked just before I was about to post.
