Yea, I guess I have kinda' been there for a bit of it. :)
Again, so very happy for her, you, and all of y'all!!! :joyfull:

As far as the marryin' off thing goes, it wasn't somethin' I was tryin' to do ;), but, they were HS sweethearts and it is all good. They are hoping to have enough saved to buy their first home in about a year, or so. They are, prudently, wanting to wait a few years to start a family, though. It will be sweet when it happens, but, I'm in no hurry to be a Pawpaw. ;) :)

Ha! Pawpaw, my DD says that to Walter. ;) My DS when he had come home from the College Program had met a girl down there from Buffalo. They tried to make a Central IL to Buffalo relationship work with them both in college but they (she) came to their senses in time, but I digress, again. One early morning my DH was dropping him off at the airport and his parting words as he got out of the car (they were going from Bufalo to Canada) was Remember! I am too young to be a Grandfather!

I have beat into my kids heads for years, try and buy a home before you have children, if it is hard now, it will only be harder once you have kids. I admire their goal. Good for them.:)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
We then decided to go to POFQ for lunch (Hellooooo shrimp Po'boy) and spend our Snack Credits on take home cookies.

Another Mutt & Jeff shot.

These never get old. :p:angelic:

Sadly, the gift shop only had 3 or 4 cookie designs, so we hopped on the boat to DTD to go to Goofy's.
Score!
While Hubby headed over to Raglan Road to buy the jersey he had skipped over twice, Tammy and I got in line at EoS.
We all got the Holiday Sandwich:

Hubby was getting antsy at 4:30 (for an 8:15 departure), so we hopped back on the boat for POFQ.

And now I'm home. Doing laundry. Lots and lots of laundry.

We bought cookies. Santa's going to put them in their stockings.

Loot pics to follow ... probably tomorrow.
Working on laundry first (our 2 loads, and the 6-7 loads that the boys accumulated while I was away - thankfully the cleaning lady came over twice to wash towels), and then I can unpack fully.
Ok don't judge me but we always have a suitcase that is exclusively for souvenirs that I do not unpack for at least six months after we come back. Now, of course, there are no perishables, but this way, we can be surprised by what we bought. I said don't judge me.

Oh, it'll take me a day or two - but only because the suitcases are in my office.
If they had been taken down to the basement, we'd be talking the week before Christmas, just so I could wrap it all!

After the safari, we took a stroll through the new Harambe section.
I've seen dozens of photos of the area, but strangely it was not quite located where I thought it was. Maybe they moved it on Monday, just to disorient me.

It's beautiful there, and wonderfully themed, but I am pretty sure this was not performed by a Union electrician:

We could have walked right into FotLK, and Hubby said, "Go ahead, Honey".
This is not the same as, "Sure, let's go", so I made the executive decision to skip it.

From there, we ambled through Asia, while I looked wistfully at EE. The sweat pouring off the other two in buckets led me to believe that this too, was a no-go for this year.

We headed over to Dinosaur and hopped into a 10 minute Stand-by line. I love this ride, but Hubby's squished knees and Tammy's delicate tummy meant it was going to be a one-and-done.

Mike and I grabbed some frozen lemonade, which we ate in the shade outside the Nemo show. Having seen it last year, I didn't even suggest it to Hubby.

I suggested maybe we should head out, thereby making me hero of the day.

On the way out, you just know I had to get this shot:
I might need a cat scan to make sure my brain is OK because it took me a looong time to get that.

It sounds like you had a wonderful visit. I am really excited to see the merchandise pictures.

As you know, we ended up going to DAK - on the hottest day of our entire trip. Go figure.
Too hot and too many people for Hubby and Tam-Tam.

Of the three day-of FPP's we snagged, we didn't end up using any of them.
We did the Safaris on stand-by.

Not looking to cause a firestorm here, but I have to comment on something that transpired in line, directly in front of us.
A woman decided to walk through the queue and nurse her baby. And for that, I say good on her ... but seriously lady, how about some discretion?
I nursed my first baby for 9 months, and due to some serious issues, I 100% exclusively nursed Son #2 for a whole year. I am militant about a woman's right to feed anytime, anywhere. But when your whole breast is exposed and everyone can see nipple, I call foul! Nobody else seemed impressed, and the more stares and glances she got, the more she flaunted it. Also, baby was not a newborn who needed to be fed on demand, but a 2 year old who then walked the rest of the way after feeding.
YMMV, but I was not impressed. Kinda felt like she was just making a statement.

But I digress. I know Safari pics get old fast, so here are just a few:

And, while attempting to keep my camera always at the ready, but safely in the truck, I took this shot and five more just like it:

:facepalm::hilarious:
On the breastfeeding thing...probably one of these "feminists" (note the quotes, because they are not exactly feminists.. they just call themselves that while flaunting or treating everyone else but their type in a very bad way)
As for the photos: do not worry, we all had these problems.. specially considering how the jeep-truck moves a lot side to side while on the safari.
