I'm still in love with that delectable delight you posted back on the bottom of page 149...! :inlove: :hungry: :)

Since you put that so sweetly you can have seconds.

Yikes. :jawdrop: I don't think when I was a girl, that my mother would have bought me any clothing by that description!! ;)

I was pretty appalled initially. Then I saw the full transcript and YouTube of Robert Jennings, the president of Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and his speech to the women about assault. I was no longer as appalled by the description of the pants.

Yes, I have also enjoyed shopping inside the Mexico pavilion, but it seemed like they cut down the size of the selling space, or started to replace some of the more unique merchandise with cheap, uninspiring things. I hope they go back to the previous theme of more specialty Mexican gifts/crafts for that "outdoor marketplace" (which, of course, is actually inside the pavilion).

They had a few nice things when I looked in there back in May, but it wasn't nearly as good as years past. And, it's not even that I can afford the expensive stuff; I just appreciate looking at quality items that are germane to the host country. It's all part of the overall learning experience for guests.

Anyway, as for the atmosphere, I still love the subdued lighting in there to make it feel like evening. That is such a nice touch. Thank goodness they haven't messed around with the lighting . . . yet.

Yep, unfortunately they've cut back on a lot of the more unique merch over the years. I really used to love all the carved, vibrantly painted animals... :)

I trust the dog's instincts. Dogs know a crazed person when they see one!! :p :D

Congratulations to your daughter, and what great news for your whole family to celebrate!

Yep and Pup has been looking at me like that for hours. There is a decked out house, streamers, balloons, pie, Mike's Hard lemonades or apple cider champagne, her choice, she really doesn't like liquor and chocolate chip cookies. I just hope the lifeguards she is training this week have settled in 'cause this 15-18 year old group all week have the attention spans of gnats. It is her first career job that she was educated for so I'm over the moon happy for her.

*should have seen me when ManChild received his current position a few years back*

Just tallied up all my receipts for Customs tonight.
Yeah ... $2500 after I accidentally "lost" a couple.

Beyond impressed with your spending! Hope I see some pics of your loot in the thread ;)

Final day here, and we have 6 CS meals remaining, and 24 Snacks!

I never did get my Dole Whip float. The two times we were in the area with room in our bellies, it was like 40 degrees and my teeth were chattering.
The other half dozen times, we had either just finished eating, or were on our way out to a TS meal.
Seemed silly (at the time - not so much now) to have a Dole Whip before Yachtsman or Narcoossee's.

We always have snack credits left over. Hope you stocked up mickey rice crispy treats!

I need more help too but that's another story

But I'm looking for an item but I can't find a good price. The Disney Store has this listed as $75 but never have it on their site so I'm am coming to you for help if anybody knows good Disney shopping sites? Not paying an arm and a leg.

That is my favorite as well. However, I did meet a chocolate I didn't like. My daughter is a no carb. person and she has some 90% Chocolate Bars. OMG, I thought I was going to gag. Chocolate needs sugar to be palatable.

Agreed.
I remember sneakin' a bite of some chocolate my mother was cookin' with way back in the day. I had a big ol' smile on my face...right up until about 2 seconds after I bit into it.
That was my introduction to unsweetened chocolate... :cyclops:

Well, here's a little tidbit for you: both the Dolphin and the Swan statues, EACH weigh 60,000 pounds! So, I suppose it's not unreasonable to think that, being placed at the top of these two hotels, they'd stand out from a distance like sore thumbs. :p :D

By the way, I like both hotels: good rates, nice rooms, and excellent location. :)

I absolutely love the S&D because as a teenager I remember seeing the big giant fish and swans and wished like crazy we could stay there one day. Instead, we did the 2+ hr trek back and forth from my grandparents when we flew down to visit them. Park days were scarce, and I just wanted to me immersed in all things disney!!

After staying at the Swan in 2011, we bought DVC - that's how much I loved staying on property. I told DH that instead of a big trip to Hawaii or wherever for our 10th anniversary, I wanted trips every year, so that's how I convinced him to buy. That and the hundreds of spreadsheets he made with oodles of data. o_O

Chocolate milkshakes are my favourite.
Cake and mousse, not so much.
Actually, I've never liked Chocolate cake. I like brownies (in small doses) some chocolate candies like M&Ms, and of course, Oreos, but nothing with chocolate icing, chocolate moouse (sp?), chocolate milkshakes, chocolate ice cream, or chocolate syrup. I like chocolate that's not super rich in small doses.

excellent.. leave me everything else please!

We bought cookies. Santa's going to put them in their stockings.

Loot pics to follow ... probably tomorrow.
Working on laundry first (our 2 loads, and the 6-7 loads that the boys accumulated while I was away - thankfully the cleaning lady came over twice to wash towels), and then I can unpack fully.
