There's a party goin' on right here
A dedication to last throughout the years
So bring your good times and your laughter too
We gonna celebrate and party with you

Come on now, celebration
Let's all celebrate and have a good time, yeah yeah
Celebration
We gonna celebrate and have a good time

To bad the DD is at work, hard celebrating with the Pup, he is looking at me like I finally flipped.

I trust the dog's instincts. Dogs know a crazed person when they see one!! :p :D

Congratulations to your daughter, and what great news for your whole family to celebrate!

Actually, I've never liked Chocolate cake. I like brownies (in small doses) some chocolate candies like M&Ms, and of course, Oreos, but nothing with chocolate icing, chocolate moouse (sp?), chocolate milkshakes, chocolate ice cream, or chocolate syrup. I like chocolate that's not super rich in small doses.

That's o.k. Even though the rest of us are card-carrying chocoholics, we accept you as you are. :joyfull:

This is my first evening home since the clocks went back.
Like I'm not already depressed enough!

Plus, I'm sick.
I had a brutal allergy day yesterday, and today is like a day-long allergy hangover.

Figured out I'm allergic to one/some of the trees along the Sassagoula River cruise from DTD to POFQ and back.
Same thing happened earlier in the trip following that same boat ride.

Meanwhile, back at home ... it's cold! And dark!
Time to start planning next year's trip.

Boo . . . that sounds like a big letdown after your fun trip. Sorry to hear about your allergies, in particular.

As for it being cold, maybe you could put on a warm fleecy sweater, and if it's dark, maybe turn on a light. There. I've just solved almost half of your problems already! :D Things should be looking up for you in no time! Welcome back, and you always have us "kids" here to talk to! :p

Chocolate milkshakes are my favourite.
Cake and mousse, not so much.
I can only have milk products in small amounts, like either milk on my cereal or ice cream for dessert, and none at all if I'm having asthma symptoms. So I only get milkshakes a few times a year. And let's face it: if I'm going to have a milkshake, I want oreo.

I love chocolate milkshakes, and I also like vanilla milkshakes. Interesting that you have some sort of lactose intolerance. That must be frustrating. My mother was allergic to milk, too. Luckily, I never was.

It's a milk sensitivity. It makes my asthma worse. I cut out the milk a while ago from my diet, and it significantly improved my asthma. Then I added back in a little bit, such as milk on my cereal. So now I have one milk product per day, and none if my asthma is flaring at all. Cheese does not bother me at all. I substitute nonmilk products if I'm having a bad day.

It's not 100% surprising; my brother is lactose intolerant.

Yes, I have also enjoyed shopping inside the Mexico pavilion, but it seemed like they cut down the size of the selling space, or started to replace some of the more unique merchandise with cheap, uninspiring things. I hope they go back to the previous theme of more specialty Mexican gifts/crafts for that "outdoor marketplace" (which, of course, is actually inside the pavilion).

They had a few nice things when I looked in there back in May, but it wasn't nearly as good as years past. And, it's not even that I can afford the expensive stuff; I just appreciate looking at quality items that are germane to the host country. It's all part of the overall learning experience for guests.

Anyway, as for the atmosphere, I still love the subdued lighting in there to make it feel like evening. That is such a nice touch. Thank goodness they haven't messed around with the lighting . . . yet.

My last purchase from Mexico. He sits on my entertainment center.
