When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
In other sad news...
The lemur named Jovian from the classic show "Zoboomafoo" has died at 20 years old :(

The boys and I used to watch that show a lot.
I used to think one of the brothers (?) was pretty cute.

Very well stated, and there's definitely two sides of the coin here. Both you and @seahawk7 have children, and the decisions you both have to make, must be beyond difficult at times. I had actually debated (to myself) last night, whether to write what I did about her 2nd job, as I certainly didn't want to seem insensitive to the tightrope she was walking. But, then I figured that she'd know that my spin on this was about my concern that she didn't burn out, from a 2nd job that produced so much anxiety.

No worries, I was agreeing with you. And, it didn't seem insensitive, at all, to me. :)
Family comes first. And, as I posted previously, we, as spouses, parents, or caregivers, also have to take care of ourselves so we can continue to take care of our families. It is up to each of us to try to determine what the best combination, in our particular circumstances, is for our family.
Sounds to me like we're all on the same page. :)

This is my first evening home since the clocks went back.
Like I'm not already depressed enough!

Plus, I'm sick.
I had a brutal allergy day yesterday, and today is like a day-long allergy hangover.

Figured out I'm allergic to one/some of the trees along the Sassagoula River cruise from DTD to POFQ and back.
Same thing happened earlier in the trip following that same boat ride.

Meanwhile, back at home ... it's cold! And dark!
Time to start planning next year's trip.

We have noticed the same thing. We, DD and I think it is a mold fungus thing.

Actually, I've never liked Chocolate cake. I like brownies (in small doses) some chocolate candies like M&Ms, and of course, Oreos, but nothing with chocolate icing, chocolate moouse (sp?), chocolate milkshakes, chocolate ice cream, or chocolate syrup. I like chocolate that's not super rich in small doses.

Chocolate milkshakes are my favourite.
Cake and mousse, not so much.

I like Pocky sticks too. I have found them at Target much to my surprise.

I think the place that I have purchased the most has been Mexico. While the shop has become smaller over the years I always find unique items there. My DS has a nice backpack and jacket from Mexico too. His favorite store though has to have been Norway for their Helly Hansen. He is nervous over what Frozen will do to the shops within Norway and is really hoping that the entire entire pavilion is not Frozenized. :cold:

Yes, I have also enjoyed shopping inside the Mexico pavilion, but it seemed like they cut down the size of the selling space, or started to replace some of the more unique merchandise with cheap, uninspiring things. I hope they go back to the previous theme of more specialty Mexican gifts/crafts for that "outdoor marketplace" (which, of course, is actually inside the pavilion).

They had a few nice things when I looked in there back in May, but it wasn't nearly as good as years past. And, it's not even that I can afford the expensive stuff; I just appreciate looking at quality items that are germane to the host country. It's all part of the overall learning experience for guests.

Anyway, as for the atmosphere, I still love the subdued lighting in there to make it feel like evening. That is such a nice touch. Thank goodness they haven't messed around with the lighting . . . yet.
