Guess you won't be playing hockey with me?:(
Depends. Do you like air hockey?:p

If you mean ice skating, nope. I only learned how in that ice skating class, and I learned on figure skates. Ice skating just isn't a huge deal down here. There were only eight people in my class (most of the PE classes have 20 students), and for the life of me, I can't find a friend who wants to go.

I took an ice skating class this past semester and wore a helmet because I am such a klutz. ;)

I didn't fall as much as some other students, but when I did, it was pretty much always this epic wipeout. I would look and be like, "What's this random bruise?" and then realize it was ice skating.
No helmets in my day....a long, long, time ago...about 51 years to be exact!:D

That's funny. Belle will run around for no reason, and then come look at us, all wide-eyed, and as soon as we look at her, take off. It's her way of saying, "Please chase me."

I think Belle and Jack have a good amount in common. They both like to cause trouble. This morning, Belle was in my room, and I was asleep, until I heard her making noise. Turns out she was chewing on a plastic baggie I was using for packing. And she just sits there and looks at me like, "Who, me? I'm an angel." She eventually got tossed out of my room and I went back to sleep. Then later, I hear a pitiful meow outside my room, like "Please let me in!" Trouble-maker, but I love her anyway!
Of course you do:D, we all love our animals...they become another family member.:joyfull:

Thanks! :)
And, thankfully, we didn't get hit as hard as they thought we might overnight, either.
The 4-mile stretch of country back road that is part of my commute to the office, that has 7 low water crossings, was still closed, so I had to take my usual alternate route. But, overall, not too bad.
That back road was closed for 4 days during the Labor Day rains, something I'd never seen before.
I'm glad to hear your are doing well.

Sorry you are getting so much rain. I hope you didn't have any damage.
What we lost is minimal. We've learned over the 30 years we've been here. More clean up. It is cloudy finally. No more rain till midnight.

Now we need tomorrow's rain to hold off for Lord Stanley & Blackhawk parade and festivities. Send good Karma.

Your cat sounds funny. She and Jack share something in common: they both run randomly around the house for no apparent reason! Sometimes, I'll be downstairs on the sofa watching tv or reading. Out of the blue, Jack will barrel up and down the stairs a few times, then stop to catch his breath, with this deranged look of accomplishment on his face and look over to me, almost looking for approval. It's almost like he's saying, "Aren't I the most amazing dog in the universe?!" :p
Love Jack. :inlove:
